"Yah don't walk away from me!!" Your boyfriend Kun shouted as you stormed out of the café. You had just found out that he was going to fly to Korea to become a trainee for SM. He was leaving in 2 days. You ran to the nearest park and cried your eyes out. How could he leave you with 2 days notice? You'd been together for almost 6 months and you were going to tell him that you loved him. You were heartbroken.
However much you tried to cheer yourself up, you just kept thinking about what life would be life without Kun. You sat on a nearby bench and buried your face in your hands, sobbing.
A little while later someone came and sat next to you. You looked up to see your boyfriend staring at you, smiling but crying. It broke your heart to see him like that, so you gave in and wrapped you arms around him, and he responded by lifting you chin so he could kiss you softly. The kiss soon turned passionate, and you tried to express every emotion through the kiss, as he was. After a few minutes you broke apart, panting for breath.
"I'm sorry." He whispered, his voice shaking slightly. "I was supposed to tell you but I really couldn't muster the courage to, I was too scared." You sighed at his excuse but all you wanted was for him to hold you so you could both enjoy the last 48 hours together. "I know you're mad at me, and you have every reason to be. I'm sorry that I'm leaving you behind, but this is my dream. SM is a huge company and this could really be my big break."
"I understand Kun, I'm not mad at you for going, I know much you want this. I'm happy for you." But your expression didn't support what you had said, tears were still pouring down your cheeks and you choked on your words. Kun kissed your forehead and held you closer.
"You're the best girlfriend ever you know that?" You smiled a little and looked up at him to give him a peck.
"I'm in love with you."
You said it. You thought you might as well get it over and done with. You didn't care if he didn't love you back, but he needed to know how in love with him you were. He looked at you in surprise and you searched his face for any signs. He remained silence for at least two minutes, making you anxious. You looked away and felt slightly ashamed. A small part of you had hoped that he loved you back, but reality struck once again.
"Oh god Y/N I...." He sighed and you just snuggled up to him closer.
"It's okay Kun, I'm not expecting you to love me back, I just wanted you to know."
"That makes me feel worse! Damn why are you such a nice person? I don't deserve you." You smiled at his cuteness and pecked his cheek. Usually you weren't a PDA couple but it was night time and not many people were around.
"I will miss you so much." You whispered, tears threatening to fall once again.
"I will too of course"
"Keep in contact with me? Please? I will want to know how you're doing."
"You'll be the first to know."
You both sat there in silence, taking in the whole situation.
"You know, oh god this is gonna sound like the rudest thing ever, that we can't be together right?" He spoke cautiously, trying not to step on your feelings too much. You smiled. You had already thought of that.
"Don't worry, I know. That's why I'm crying right now" you chuckled and wiped the tears from your eyes. Kun nuzzled his head into your neck, so his lips were inches away from your collarbone, and you shivered. He slowly pressed his lips to your skin, making you sigh in pleasure. You loved this boy to the moon and back, and you weren't sure what you were going to do without him. You decided to try and enjoy the moment, intertwining his fingers with yours.
You spent the rest of the night in each other's company, crying but comforting each other, like partners do. Even though he was leaving, you knew that it was the right decision for him to go, and you convinced yourself that you could find someone else after a while.
