"Aw come on Y/N it'll be fun!" Your boyfriend of 2 years, Johnny pleaded. You shook your head furiously.
"There is no way that I'm going to see that movie, did you hear about the creepy things that happened afterwards, there were mother-fcking PREISTS standing outside 'just in case'. NO WAY!"
Johnny had asked you if he could take you out to the cinema to watch The Conjuring 2. You'd heard about all the rumours and you were terrified of horror movies. You'd seen the first one. Never again.
"I'll protect you I promise, plus they just say that to scare you, it's for publicity." He gave you puppy dog eyes and you knew from then on you couldn't resist him. You sighed in annoyance before agreeing. Johnny whooped with delight and a huge smile was plastered on his face, causing the sides of your own mouth to turn upwards too.
"Ahhhh yes! I'll pick you up at 7."
You had just finished getting ready when the doorbell rang. You took one last look in the mirror before hesitatingly moving downstairs to answer the door. You saliva almost got caught in your throat as you saw Johnny standing there, in a frikin' leather jacket. Even though you'd been with him for a long time, sometimes the things he wore made you realise how hot he was. You had no idea why he was with someone like you. Your heart raced as he smirked at you.
"Ready to go princess?"
"Ew never call me that."
He laughed before slinging an arm over your shoulder as you walked away from your house. The cinema was only round the corner so you took a short stroll, talking about whatever.
When you had reached the cinema, your stomach started to churn in fear. You were seriously regretting agreeing to this. Curse your boyfriend's stupid cuteness. Johnny went up to the counter to get the tickets and some popcorn, while you were observing your surroundings.
No priests in sight yet you thought, shivering at the thought.
"You cold?" Your head turned to see Johnny standing here with a warm smile on his face, carrying the tickets and popcorn. You shook your head and smiled as he passed you the popcorn before leading the way into the theatre.
You sat a couple of rows from the back, and your heart was going crazy. Johnny could sense your fear so he grabbed your hand and intertwined his fingers with yours, kissing your forehead softly.
The movie wasn't as bad as you were expecting, however it was still as terrifying as the first. Johnny had never screamed so much in his life, and that caused you to stifle a laugh every now and then. It totally made you forget about how scary it was, and you were thankful for his cowardice.
As you both made your way out of the cinema, Johnny didn't say a word, and you looked at him in concern to find that he was looking rather pale.
"Johnny are you okay? Do you need to go to the toilet?" He shook his head, not making eye contact. He looked kind of sad, so you grabbed his arm gently and made him face you. "What's the matter?" He huffed slightly, shaking his head as if it was stupid.
"I just wanted to protect you and comfort you like a good boyfriend, but instead I was a whimp and screamed the whole time." You could help but laugh slightly at his cuteness.
"Omg Johnny seriously don't worry about it, your screaming made me forget about how scary it was, so I could enjoy it. And for the record you're already the best boyfriend, you don't need to try." He cupped your face in his hand and kissed you softly as a thank you, and you smiled throughout.
"I love you"
"I love you more"
Oh god this was kinda cringey it reminds me of my old relationship ew ew ew ew ew.
I'm not sure if these are getting too long or not, I guess I just get carried away lmao.
Btw when will Johnny debut 'cause I'm waiting SM.
