Coffee Date with Ellie too

Andi gets a call while we are sitting in our kitchen making breakfast. Andi has a little sister, Ellie. When Andi got off the phone she told me that we were going to meet Dan and Phil for coffee after dropping Ellie off at her daycare. Turns out, the daycare was closed today so we had to take Ellie with us. We got to the coffee shop and I spotted Dan and Phil. I yelled towards them.
We ordered our coffee and sat down. Ellie looked around and then looked at Dan. "Are you gonna date my sister?"
I laughed as I looked at Phil. Ellie starts asking Andi questions about their parents and why they left home. I became tense quickly.
Phil notices me becoming tense and Andi got up saying she had to use the bathroom. Dan got up and followed her to make sure she was ok. A few minutes later they were back. We finished our coffee and left.
"Anyone want to go to the mall?" I suggest.
"I will," Phil said.
"I don't really want to," Dan said.
"Not really," Andrea answered.
"Well Phil and I can go, right?"
"Yeah. Go ahead," Dan and Andrea say at the same time.
Phil and I walk off in the direction of the mall. Once we have walked for a few minutes, there is a park to our right. I've been playing at this park since I was a baby. Phil looked at the park then took my hands and pulled me towards the swings.
"Phil, what are you doing?"
He sat down on a swing and looked at me. "Maddie, will you be my girlfriend?"
I smiled and looked Phil in the eyes. "Yes Phil. I will be your girlfriend."
Phil stood up and took my hand as we continued to walk to the mall. When we got there, I decided to call Andrea and tell her what had happened.
