Coffee and Anime

At the Mall

Lilly didn't answer her phone. I tried calling her three times with no answer. I slipped my phone into my pocket and turned to Phil.
"She didn't answer."
"Should I try calling Dan?"
"No. We'll tell them later."
I decide to end the conversation there and start walking towards a clothing shop. I left Phil a few steps behind me.
"Maddie, what's wrong?" Phil asks as he catches up to me.
"I'm just worried. Lil usually answers her phone."
Phil doesn't have a reply to what I said. Instead, he just slips his hand into mine.
We continue walking into the store. I lead Phil to the back of the store, because I'm looking for a new sweater. "You can look at something else if you want, Phil."
"That's ok. I don't really have anything in mind that I want."
"You sure? Sweater shopping is pretty boring."
"It's fine."
I pick out a gray sweater with a small but of pink in it. I check the price tag. $8.00 It's on sale. I smile as I hang the sweater over my arm. I walk across the store to find a new pair of leggings. $4.00 The whole store is having a sale. I find the right size and I'm ready check out.
As the cashier is ringing up my items, my phone goes off loudly in my pocket. I take a look at who is calling me. Potato. Lilly is my Potato. I quickly answer the call.
"Hello?"
"Maddie."
"Lils. Are you ok?"
"Um. We'll talk about that later. We just got back from the park. Dan is over for a while too. Ask Phil if he wants to come over if you want."
"Ok. I'll ask him. Guess what!"
"What?"
"Phil and I are dating now!"
"What?!? You're kidding!"
"He asked me out at the park when we were on our way!"
"Oh my gosh. I'm so happy for you!"
We ended the call and I walked back to the counter. Phil wasn't there.
"Excuse me miss. Have you seen my boyfriend? He just disappeared on me."
"The Raven haired boy?"
"Um. Yes. Him."
"He paid for your items and is waiting outside the store for you."
"Oh. Thank you."
I walked out the door to find Phil.

A/N: sorry. That was probably a crummy chapter. Didn't mean for it to be that bad. I've just been busy for a while and didn't have many ideas. Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
