March 2nd, 2016 ... 8:27 PM

I was forced out of my bed and out of my room by my best friend, Hannah.

She pushed me into the bathroom, shoving a random, red dress I didn't even realize I owned, into my hands. I wasn't given the chance to protest, before she put her hand over my mouth and nearly growled, "Put it on. Now."

I had no choice, but to do as she said. I groaned and slammed the door shut, quickly stripping off the pajamas I had been wearing for the past four days, since I had no will to live.

I know, it's dramatic of me, but this whole thing with Harry really hit me hard. I know we weren't a thing, but we weren't nothing. I didn't realize I was leading him on, until he was at my doorstep, with his kiss on my lips. It was never my intention to hurt him. I was dating Luke the entire time and didn't bother telling them about each other, because I thought Harry and I were just friends. Never did we ever discuss us being anything other than that.

Anyway, two hours later, and now we're here...in Boston's biggest nightclub; Popped Inc.

Such a stupid name, but if you ask anyone why it was named that, they'll give you the corny "'cause it's always poppin'", which honestly just makes me want to slap them upside the head.

Hannah somehow convinced Simon to drive us, quite odd considering he absolutely hates taking me anywhere.

I'm at the bar, a shot of I-don't-know-what sitting in front of me, and a very handsome, young man sitting two stools away from me. Oh, and we can't forget Simon, who decided to stay and is keeping an eye on me from across the club. It's ridiculous! I'm not a little kid who needs to be babysat!

The only upside to him being here is that he hooked us up with wristbands to get inside, since Hannah and I are underaged and he isn't. He's also friends with the bartender, whose dad owns the place. Not too bad, I guess.

I roll my eyes at him, before turning to the guy sitting next to me. I'm surprised to see that he was already looking at me. I send him a shy smile and take a sip of my shot. Lame, I know. I don't drink.

Before I know it, Cute Guy has moved over and is now right next to me, a gorgeous smile plastered on his face.

"I'm not a big fan of this whole scene either," he comments, shrugging.

"What makes you think I'm not a fan?" I raise an eyebrow, turning so that I'm facing him.

"You're just sitting there and you haven't even taken one shot," he says. "Wasn't too hard to figure out."

"What about you?"

"I told you, I'm not a fan either," he chuckles, bumping my shoulder with his in a playful manner.

"Then, why are you here?"

"My best friend thinks I need to let loose,"

"Seriously?" I laughed, then turned around so that I could point out Hannah. "There's the reason I'm here, because apparently I needed a night out."

"Guess we're on the same boat then, huh? Bad breakup?" He questions, his bright, blue eyes on mine.

"Something like that..." And, just like that, I find myself launching into the story of how Harry and I started talking, how he showed up at my doorstep, how I had a boyfriend at the time, everything. I told this stranger everything.

And it felt so good.

When I was done, he told me what he was going through.

"My girlfriend since freshman year of high school broke up with me over text," he said and my eyes widened. "Yeah, it sucked. I was torn for weeks, I wouldn't talk to anyone, eat anything, or go anywhere. I was literally in bed all day and night," he continued. "Until one day, Kody, the guy who dragged me here tonight, said it was time to move on."

"Wow, I am so, sorry," I shook my head. I didn't even know the girl and I hated her.

"No worries, I'm over it now," he assured me with a smile.

We sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes, until I decided it was time to introduce myself, since I had practically just poured my heart out to the guy. "I'm Sydney, by the way, but everyone calls me Syd."

"It's very nice to meet you, Syd, I'm Will," he smiled again. His smile was breathtaking.

"So, uh, you wanna dance?" He asked with his hand outstretched towards me, his head cocked towards the dance floor.

"I'd love to."
