Chapter 13

(Masters/Gramps POV)

Minna. Family.

That's what this guild is all about. We trust one another, we care about one another, and we protect one another.

No matter the situation.

To be part of a family doesn't mean you have to be blood related.

You don't have to know someone.

You don't even have to be friends.

To be a family means everything else. Caring, helpful, it doesn't even matter if you're good or bad, your kindness, and your attitude towards one another.

And goodness gracious, I am an old man.

I am an old man, I have watched over this guild for many years.

And this old man, still doesn't know the full definition of being part of a family here. The definition goes on and on, it never ends. There are so many expectations, intentions, and decisions. Basically, there isn't even an exact definition about it.
The definition is how you see it. How you view a family.

And you love one another. No matter how much I hate has spread.

But of course, being part of the family also means so much of paperwork.

And I think you know who I am talking about.

" NATSU!!!!!!" I roar throughout the guild hall.

The most simplest job in the universe, he somehow makes complete destruction happen!!

The boy is going to make this old man bonkers before the end of July!!

Natsu Dragneel and his team set out for this quest about stealing a book a few towns across Magnolia.

But!!

He somehow burned down the forest next to the place where they would steal the book from the bandits. The whole forest. And the building.

I sigh from frustration and stress as I stare at the pile of paper.

From the looks of it, the paper stack seemed to be about eight inches tall.

I hope Laxus and (Y/N) are doing well with the training.

They left just about over three weeks ago. I sent them off thinking that Laxus could help with some training with (Y/N).
Even though she is one of our strongest and intelligent people in the guild.

Ah I remember the day so well. The day she walked through those doors of the guild only to meet the energetic guild hall.

Such a cute little thing she was. And she still is. But not in the creepy way.

(Y/N) (L/N) is like a daughter of mine. Or granddaughter more like it. Just like Laxus is but different in the same way.

Her magic power and aura around her is absolutely amazing. Powerful and strong.

The young mage's personality is wonderful. Especially at her age.

The rooms shakes for a second from all the chaos down stairs. Yells and shouts are heard. Profanities slipping out of mouths and into the air.

Sigh...

Never gets old but it does get annoying after awhile.

But don't tell them that.

Writers block at the moment. Hehe.

But I have just moved to FLORIDA and I am now working on getting in the school while trying to find a job.

Girls need the extra green, ok?

Plus it will help me out paying for my car and insurance for it. And if I have enough it will go into savings for UNI.

Little early for it some of you think but I say better now than never or last minute.

It will become easier for me if I start now so it was a simple choice to choose.
