Chapter 21

The boys, my friends and I thought of meet up at Liam's house. Liam seemed to be a bit down since we came back, so I thought to get his mind off things, introduced him to Emily.

As far as I think, they are warming up to each other pretty well and Liam really looks happy.

Emily P.O.V

Karin invited me to Liam Payne's house. The LIAM PAYNE!!! I was sweating by the time we reached. I'm really big fan of Liam just like Karin. 

We shook hands and all, and I got to know that Liam's a really nice guy. We could talk openly and he had a lot of hidden talents. 

I couldn't help but notice how Joseph was eyeing Harry and Karin while they were chit-chatting with Zayn and Colette. It felt as though he was jealous. He stood at one corner with a drink in his hand. Just staring at them, piercing holes through their body. I really felt the urge to go and talk to him.

"I'll be back in a minute," I say to Liam.

"Okay, I'll be waiting." He replies

I take my phone and approach Joseph.

"Hey, Joseph could I talk to you for a moment?" I ask him

"Sure."

I lead him outside to the backyard.

"I've been observing you for the past 5 minutes and all you're doing is staring at Karin and Harry. What's wrong?" 

"I like Karin and have tried to tell her yet she doesn't see it."

"But she's happy with Harry. Why don't you find someone else and wish her well?"

"No! That cannot happen! She is MINE! Only MINE! She has to come back to me!" 

"Joseph! Enough of your nonsense! She is our friend you should be happy for her. I know you like her but she's with someone else. Get that through your thick skull."

"I have done it before and I can do it again. Nobody can stop me."

"What have you done Joseph?" I ask worriedly

"If isn't mine, she's nobody's."

He storms off into the room and out the house. I get back in frustrated and shocked. They all look at me hoping an answer for his unpredictable behaviour. I just go to Liam and hug him, crying a few tears.

"Liam, could you just take me home?" I ask him feeling a bit dizzy.

"Let's go". 

I told him the directions and asked him to stay with me. He called Harry to lock their house if no one will be home. 

I lay my head on my soft pillow and gesture Liam come sit next to me. 

"What happened there?" he asked 

"Joseph is not who we think he is. He's a monster. He's obsessed with Karin I feel that we should let her know, But she won't believe it. She knows Joesph the longest and wouldn't think that he could go such a horrible extent." I say 

"What did he do?"

"He tried to kill her. Remember her accident? It was him all along." I say crying

"What?"

I cried on Liam's shirt and soon fell asleep.
