I wait impatiently for Colette and finally someone's at the door. I open the door and am relieved that it was Colette.
"Colette come in. Make yourself comfortable."
"Would you like water or something?"
"No thanks. What was it you wanted to talk about?"
"Colette I really think you're a beautiful girl and anyone would want to be with you but, there's something I've kept from you. I have liked Karin since the beginning and now that she's with Harry, I really am trying to get over her." I saw her eyes tearing up.
"I don't know whether you will accept it or not, but will you spend the rest of your life with me? Colette, will you marry me?" I asked kneeling down on one knee and to my surprise, she kissed me.
"I will!"
And with those words, Colette and I shared another breathtaking, passionate kiss.
Liam P.O.V
I have to tell her today. I went to Emily's door and rung her doorbell. I wore a simple shirt with black pants and held flowers in one hand behind my back.
She opened the door. "Liam, how nice it is to see you again. Come on in."
I handed her the flowers.
"Thank you! You want anything to drink? It's a hot day today isn't it?"
"Yes, it is."
She handed me a glass of water.
"I want to tell you something." We both said at the same time.
"You first," I said
"No, you go first." She reasoned.
I held both of her hands in mine and said, "Emily since the day we met there was something about you and we just clicked. I don't know whether you fell the same way or not but I just couldn't keep it in anymore. Emily, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes!"
She hugged me and then I asked, "What was it you wanted to tell me?"
"I was going to propose to you." She said with a wide grin.
"I should've let you say it first."
We both laughed.
