Three months after thirteen

I'm finally able to be home to my beautiful wife. Rey's doing well and so are the babies, she's six months along and she is very hormonal, sweet one moment and angry at me for no reason the next. Mom's given us our own place and it's pretty nice, it's a two bedroom apartment. Our room is done with really nice grey paint with damask designs in black, floor to ceiling curtains, a little sitting area for when Rey or I are reading, a Jedi master sized bed (the equivalent of a king sized XD) and a huge closet. The first time we saw the room, Rey broke down in tears and hugged my mom for about an hour. The twins room is so amazing, our daughter's side is light pink with flowers and trees and our son's side is baby blue with podracers, speeders and ships. (ships like Reylo, Anidala Mazbaca and Hanxleia 😉😉😉😂😂😂)

I'm coming home from a meeting, when I get there I open the door. "Rey! I'm home!" I say. I go in our bedroom and see Rey tied up! "Rey, what happened?" I ask, untying her. "Hux! Ben, he's still here." She tells me. "Yes, I am. Very good Rey!" Someone behind me says. Hux. I turn around. "What do you want Hux?" I say angrily. "Your wife." He says smiling evilly. "WHAT?" I say, stepping in front of her. "You heard me! You weren't the only one who fell in love with her. She's beautiful, how could I resist?" He says, a cold expression on his face. "If you want her you'll have to go through me!" I yell. "I was hoping you'd say that, I love a good fight!" He smirks. Rey runs out of the room and grabs her lightsaber while I ignite mine. This should be easy. As I look at the face of my ex best friend I think about the reason that he hates me, we joined the first order at the same time but I got promoted right away to the head of the knights of ren while he had to work his way up slowly. He takes his lightsaber out of it's holster and ignites it. "Ren, did I ever tell you that I am force sensitive?" He asks. "Yes, when we were young, that's why you hate me, you wanted to be a knight of ren but snoke decided to give me the job" I say. "Yes, and now I am the head of the first order! you killed snoke, and usually I would thank you in a more traditional way but I would rather thank you by killing you and taking your wife for my own and disposing of your child." He smiles evilly. I strike first, done with his talking. He blocks my blade and rey glazes his arm with hers. I strike his hand making him drop the weapon and scream in pain. "You will regret that!" He yells before Rey and I plunge our weapons into his chest and he falls on his knees. I go to my wife and check for injuries after I'm sure she's fine I pull her in to a kiss. "Princess, why did you do that? You could've gotten hurt or worse! I don't know what I would have done if you died!" I say when I finally pull away. "I was thinking I would lose everything if I lost you!" She says. Then I open my mouth to say something but she puts her lips against mine again. In that moment I know what she's thinking and feeling and I feel the presence that I feel every time I kiss her, and right now I would do anything to protect them.
