The marauders map

A/N the picture insert is what my character look like for my recent and soon to come chapters 🍓

One thing I knew for sure is that Alex has this thing in her bag, she reads it every night before she goes to sleep. I don't think she knows that I know she has it. If ever I've needed to find her before that's done the trick, of course she doesn't know that I root through her trunk when ever I do! This "thing" is called the Marauders Map. 
I run back up to the dorms ignoring all the questions that were being thrown at me. I dodge broken glass and... Blood, and launch into her trunk. I open it carefully, and not as carefully go through all of her stuff in search for the map.
"You have got to be kidding me! That bloody demented idiot has hidden it somewhere! God if she is not already dead I'm gonna kill her."
I go back down to the common room and as everyone is talking I walk slowly and quietly towards Reece and grab him by the ears pulling him out of the portrait hole.
"OW ow ow ow ow ow! What the heck was that for Li?" Reece says
"I need your help," I say pointing at the twit rubbing his ears.
"To find Alex."
"Why?"  Comes a voice from behind me,
"Kalem! Hi um yeah although you might not want to I'm gonna need your help to."

We searched all over the castle for the missing girl and she was still no where to be seen.

"Hagrid!" I yell running towards the giant man who was leaving his hut placed on the school grounds.
"Hagrid, have you seen Lex?"
"No I'm afraid not, I'm sorry Liza, oh and Kalem, happy bir'day for tomorrow!"
"Kalem's birthday! Thank you thank you thank you!" I say running to the other side of the school, towards hogsmeade.
"Liza, LIZA!" Kalem yells after me
"I don't understand!"
"Maybe she felt like being a decent person for once and is going to buy you a birthday present from hogsmeade." I said simply as though I was pointing out the obvious.

Once we reached hogsmeade I checked all of our favourite shops. Finally when I gave up I went for a walk around the rest of hogsmeade. I reached a place that creeped me out to the maximum. I was at a fence that lead on to the grounds that held the shrieking shack. I was standing there just staring for a moment when it occurred to me, I was going out in a limb on this one cos I know how easily creeped out Alex can get by these places but just as I thought that might be the place she would be I heard an ear piercing scream.

"ALEX!" I jumped over the fence and ran as fast as i could in the molten heat towards the shrieking shack where the screams continued. Before I knew it many people from the town were running after me and Reece was right up front.
"LIZA STOP!" He screams at me but I ignore him and carry on running,
"LIZA ITS TOO DANGEROUS! YOU'RE GONNA GET YOURSELF KILLED!"
  At this moment I didn't care if I got killed as long as I could make Alex and Kalem happy again.
"LIZA!" I hear a new voice scream this time it's Kalem, he's running beside me.
"I know you're going to make me stop but I'm not!" I say still go using in the shack.
"No I'm coming to help you!" He says smiling at me.
"Where's Noah?" I say concerned for my twin brother.
"He's in the common room with Josh and Luke, there keeping him in the common room so I can tell Alex how I really feel with out him jumping on me."
We finally reach the shack when the screams get louder and shorter. Kalem kicks the door open and let's me run in first, he follows swiftly after followed by Reece. We get to the room where the screams were coming from and burst through the door to see Alex lying on the ground hopeless, bleeding profusely and sobbing. She had "liar" "traitor" and "worthless" carved into her arms and hands. There were knives being slotted into her legs and feet so she couldn't move.
"GET OFF HER NOW!" Kalem yells scaring everybody. The masked culprits stopped immediately. There was a curse war for about ten minutes before Kalem, Reece and I finally won and they were gone, not dead, but gone.
Kalem dropped his wand and fell beside Alex. She was forcing her eyes open.
"Alex no matter what happens today, I love you."
Alex's eyes shut slowly and her body was still. Kalem hung his head and began to cry over her still body.
"I'll see you tomorrow, I love you."
