After war

First dates and new promises

As we run out of the hall we bump into someone. I straight away know who that person was. Noah. He falls to the ground his glasses falling off of his face his tear stained cheeks a bright Crimson in embarrassment.
"Noah." Josh says quietly holding out his hand to help him up.
"I'm fine."
"Noah."
"I'm fine. I'll see you back at the common room." I know straight away that he started crying. He hasn't come out of his room in weeks we've had to tell the teachers he's in the hospital wing with fever to get him out of trouble. I'm pretty sure he hasn't eaten anything for days. Maybe even weeks. "We should go talk to him." Reece says.
"I'll go, he's my twin no one knows him better than me not even our parents."
I run after him and leave the others to go back to the great hall. After talking to him and convincing him to come down and eat everyone is already on dessert.
"Noah, can I talk to you for a minute?" Josh says simply when he's finished his rhubarb and custard pie.
"Sure." He says pushing his glasses up his nose.
"What is going on with those two cor! It's like they bloody broke up." Kaylum says snickering. We all shoot him and disgusted look.
"What? I was only joking."
"Yeah but it's not a joke! Is it! You need to think about what you say before you say it!" Clearly Alex wasn't too happy with kaylums comment about them, it's not his fault though, no one has told him about their being gay.
Kaylum being the gentleman he is runs after her.
"Alex! Alex!"
"What?"
"I'm sorry about everything. About the girl, trust me there was no feelings there she was just a friend I promise you! I'm sorry about my comment in there I know this is a sensitive subject for anyone but being your friends with someone who's gay I can understand why you took offence. I've been an absolute jerk,"
"Yeah you have."
"And I hate myself for it because it means that I don't get to spend every day with you, I think about you everyday cause I can't help it. I love you Alex, it's been that way since you started here." And with that she was like putty. She tried to keep him talking so she could try and contain herself, she couldn't she couldn't help but wrap her hand around his neck and pull him into a passionate kiss.
"I promise you I love you."
"I love you too."

After everyone had gone to bed it had reached eleven, and me and Reece were sat in an empty classroom with a basket full of food and sweets. This was are proper first date and so far it was going amazingly. As it neared the end of our date I was packing up. I heard Reece mutter something under his breath and saw sparks erupting from the end of his wand. I turn round and he's made a beautiful promise ring and a gorgeous locket. He's down on his knee and says,
"Liza freaking Malfoy, I promise to love you forever. I feel like there is no flaws in our relationship and I know we will both stay faithful to each other, I respect you, I care for you, I adore you, I love you."
"I love you too." I say mimicking him giggling.
"Pleas will you accept this locker and my promise ring?"
"Well of course!" I walk over to him blow out the candles currently floating around him and say.
"I promise I will love you forever too."
I stand on my tiptoes once he's placed the ring on my finger and as he's tying the locker around my neck I pull him into a kiss, into which we were both smiling widely.
