The truth will out

As we settled in the common room there were two more people to be reunited for the year to come.
"Hey guys look," Noah came bundling down the stairs holding his muggle studies book, he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Josh.
"Mate!" He cheered as he went over and gave him a man hug. When they broke apart he pushed his glasses back up his nose and continued what he was going to say.
"So in this book it says that the muggle family that was taking care of Harry as he grew moved to Australia and the last known occurrence was when Dudley, had a child of his own who was offered a place at the biggest wizardry school in Australia! How cool is that!"
"I wonder what uncle Vernon's reaction to that was." Sneered lex as she rolled her eyes. She had only met Dudley once, how ever they got on really well and he sent her a birthday and Christmas present each year. The last time she saw his son was when he was a toddler, his name was Jamie.
"Wait reverse a second." She said sitting upright and looking at him.
"When was this?"
"Uh it says about two years ago."
"Oh my god!" She said getting up from her seat next to Kalem.
"What?" We all said looking as puzzled as the next person.
"Oh my god!" She said running upstairs to the dormitory. She came down minutes later with a letter in her hand.
"It's from my dad it says that uncle Dudley and his family were moving back here and that Jamie would most likely be attending hogwarts!"
"When did you get this?"
"A couple weeks ago, dad was in Romania on business when I got this letter. He explains how in Australia you have to get offered a spot and have to take a test before you start! So he, he will be joining first year here, today!" She said excitedly.
"Oh my god. I'm going to see Jamie!" And with that she disappeared through the portrait hole.
Everyone looked at me as though expecting something.
"Oh right okay." I say getting up and following her out of the portrait hole down to the main hall.
"Bloody hell Lex slow down! You don't even know if he's started yet!"
"Yes he has I heard his name being called in the sorting ceremony and completely blanked it! Holy crap! I wonder if he remembers me?" She said suddenly stopping in her tracks.
"You okay?" I say worried.
"Yep!" She says and carries on as though nothing had worried her.
As I step into the great hall all I can see is people staring at Lexie as she's running towards the Gryffindor table.
"Li?" I hear someone say I turn towards the voice and see Reece and Josh's sister Paige staring at me.
"Paige!" I say bounding over to her, I wrap her in a big hug.
"So you're friends with that crazy girl shouting Jamie?"
"Yep, she's not entirely crazy at least not all the time." I say pitifully.
"I know Jamie, we sat together on the train here, he's a really nice guy. Funny, talented, smart." She said wondering off into her own little dream world.
"Yeah well honey, boys don't always stay like that. Reece did he's still he same as he was when we were four," I say giggling slightly, now I'm off in my dream world.
"Okay, okay." She says patting my back breaking my trance.

Back in the common room we all pretty much zoned out. I fell asleep on Reece and woke to him stroking my hair, softly as though I was a delicate lily. Looking around the room I notice that lex had fallen asleep on Kalem who had also fallen asleep. Noah was lying on the floor his history of magic book open on his face and Josh asleep at the table where he had had food.
Once we had all woken up it was way past curfew and we decided to troll up to our dorms.
