Chapter Twenty Eight//Cant Stop The Feeling

Loki paced up and down biting his lip. He listened to Allison convincing the avengers about how good he was today. This made Loki feel guilt and that was a rare feeling for Loki. He only ever felt guilt once or twice. The first was after New York and seeing families crying and second time was when he was mean to Frigga and later on that day she diead. That tore him, made him feel like a beast. He regretted not saying what emotion's he truly had for his mother. Loki clenched his jaw at the sound of his brother denying the good in him. He knew if he continued with using Alli, she would be heartbroken and for some reason that is not what he wanted. If it wasn't for Thanos he wouldn't even be in this mess right now, it's Thanos who is in need of the Tesseract not him. Nor does he intend on using it. Although his brother is quite irritating. What if Allison brought out the good in him? Loki couldn't help but smile, when Alli was happy and her mind wasn't filled with hate. Loki was so confused with these emotions. Loki didn't know what to do? Loki teleported out side of the cell were he saw Thor holding Allison by her shoulders. Alli looked like she was about to cry. This made Loki furious.

"It is time to leave now!" Loki said gently. He watched as Allison nodded slightly. He looked at the avengers to see their worried faces. Loki turned the sheild off and watched as Allison stepped out and walked off a bit.

"Loki!" Thor called. Loki turned to face Thor. "If you break her, I swear-" Thor growled.

"I have no intentions, to do such a thing!" Loki muttered and walked off after turning on the shield. Loki catched up with Allison. "Are you better know?" Loki asked.

"Huh? Oh yes, er thanks!" Allison spoke, but little did Allison know that Loki knew how she felt inside. Loki studied her, he knew she was lying; it was the one thing he knew about everyone. The walked until the stopped outside Allison's room.

"Goodnight!" Loki muttered as he left the room. He watched as the door closed.

It was about 11pm at night and Loki was walking back to his room, but was stopped by the sound of Allison slightly screening. He opened the door and peeked in to see her tossing and turning in her sleep. Her hair was messy, strands of hair stuck to her sweaty face. Loki couldn't help but want to read her mind, so that's what he did. He focused his eyes and saw her nightmare... He was in it. In the dream he saw the avengers dying, he saw they were stuck to electric chairs. He then saw himself standing next to a scientist. In his hands he saw he was forcing Allison to watch her friends die. Loki gasped as he realised himself from her dream. He was now too, sweaty and his breathing was heavy. He saw what people saw of him. Loki walked over to Allison and gentle shook her until she woke up.

"It is just me!" Loki whispered. Allison slightly smiled and rubbed her eyes. "Walk with me?" Loki offered and stud up and walked to the door. Allison stud their confused, but she got up and followed Loki. They walked up stairs until they reached the top. Allison looked around to see she was on top of the palace. She glanced around the beauties of the planet. It was breath taking.
"This was my favourite place when I was little." Loki mumbled and Alli looked at him. She watched as Loki looked down at the city below him.

"It's beautiful." Allison muttered.

"It is!" Loki mumbled. After a couple of minutes of awkward silences Loki couldn't bare the torture of wanting to clear everything with Allison. "I know you fear me!" Loki muttered.

"What?"

"I saw your dream!"

"Oh!"

"I also listened to your conversation with the avengers... I saw how you defended me, why?" Loki asked while turning to face Allison.

"I know there's good in you!"

"How? How do you know, what makes you think that you are so sure?" Loki snaps. He walks closer to Allison. She desperately wants to take steps back, as the feeling of Loki coming closer makes her weaken. But she had to prove herself right.

"I- I saw it!"

"When Alison? Do share with me..."

"Yesterday, you made me feel... Safe, the way we talked and the way we made each other laugh. I just thought that-"

"That I had become soft?"

"Of cause not, I just I know there's good in you, and you do to!" Allison yelled. She soon would regret that boost of confidence that struck from her mouth.

"You still fear me, as much as you fear that scientist!" Loki yells.

"I do not!"

Suddenly Loki raised his hand while stepping forward. He saw Allison's eyes widen as she defended herself and stumbled back.

"See, you are scared to be around me! Which is how you should feel. You know nothing!" Loki hisses. As soon as the words left his mouth Loki regretted it. He saw tears spill from Allison's eyes.

"I hate you!" Allison screamed and she ran off. Loki was left there shocked. He knew right away he ruined any connection he had with her. Loki pulled his hair in anger, he was such a fool...Allison ran down the stairs, as she broke down. How could she be so stupid to trust him. Allison slammed her door shut and ran to her bed. She couldn't help but feel so childish right now, but she just had nothing good to look forward to...
