Jazmine leads the group through the hallways quietly. Riley walks as the last, keeping out for a guard who may be following.

The three follow the mixed princess up a long flight of stairs. Just as they reach the corner, Jazmine holds up a hand and halts the others immediately. "Father has only knights that guard the library," she whispers as lowly as she can, pointing a finger. Huey and Riley peak around the corner.

They're two knights who stand on either side of the door, wearing armour and armed. One looks dozed and sleepy, leaning on the wall while the other just looks bored.

Huey nods at Riley. Riley pulls out one arrow and his bow, aiming the arrow at the floora where he shoots. The knights jump at this, staring. "What the--" Smoke begins to fill the area and they start coughing.

"Wait here." The girls watch as Huey and Riley walk into the thick smoke. Clank! The girls flinch at the painful sound. Once the smoke clears, the knights are lying on the floor. Jazmine gasps, but Huey answers before she asks, "We did not kill them, but when they awake they will have a horrible headache."

Riley snickers.

The four walk to the large oak door the knights were guarding. Ming stares at the strange writing on the door. She presses her fingers on the writing and traces it as she reads the language under her breath. The others watch patiently. Elvish was not easy, except for elves obviously.

Ming speaks a phrase loudly in the language the others do not know, at the same time making an arcane gesture with her hand. She then opens the door with ease.

The protection ward Cynthia spoke about is lifted, Huey thinks.

They follow Ming into a circular room, likely one of the castle towers. Bookshelves filled with books of different sizes and colours line the walls. There is a large stone table in the middle of the room with stacks of papers and candles on its top.

"Wow..." Jazmine says, looking around. "I have never been in here..."

Huey walks to one of the shelves and looks closely at the books. "Ming, these are all in Elvish. Do you think you can find it?"

Ming glares at Huey for a moment and looks around again. Huey decides not to pry further. The pressure was on her after all. She slowly steps to the round table, letting her hand hover above the rolled up scrolls. Then she stops and stares at one in particular.

The others surround her. Ming takes the long scroll and unrolls it. The others recognise kingdom of Crestwood and the other lands close to it. Ming waves a hand over the map and says another Elvish phrase. Suddenly, dark lines and symbols reveal on the paper. Ming points to one of the symbols and says, "Wuncler is here."

Riley squints. "Norwhite. That is not too far from Crestwood...in a way..."

Huey asks, "Where is he going?"

Ming points to a faded dark line. "This is his path."

"...when will he be here?" Huey points at a path closest to Crestwood.

Ming's hand hovers above the map once more. "Five nights from now."

"Ming, how do you do this?" Jazmine asks her friend. "This does not only involve knowing Elvish."

Ming looks away.

"Nevermind that." Huey takes the scroll, but Ming slaps it out of his hand. "We cannot take this!" She scolds. "They will scry us!"

Scrying then was predicting the future. Someone could take a belonging and use it with the magic ball to see you. To know if you were scryed, you would get a naked feeling.
"Right. Of course. Let us flee before someone wakes up."
