The four step out the swirling hole and all sigh in relief when for the first time they recognise they're surroundings. Caesar and Ming seem to be sleeping. Caesar uses the horse's stomach as his cushion, leaning on his and Ming uses his lap as a pillow. Huey looks up at the dark sky. "How long have we been gone..." he asks himself.

Cynthia hugs herself. "I need to change into my clothes. It is unbelievable how women in Vana-leenah actually dress like...like whores."

Riley shrugs. "I don't mind."

Jazmine frowns to herself. We are finally here with the crown. What happens after we make our wishes? We will separate...then what? We say our byes and act as if we never met? Huey notices her sad expression, "Are you quite alright?"

Jazmine forces a smile. "Just fine."

"You are lying."

She scoffs. "I am not."

"What's on your mind?"

"...."

Ming mumbles something in her sleep and peels her eyes open, they widen when she sees the others. "You finally have returned! Caesar!" She pushes his leg and he mutters something before turning on his side. Ming rolls her eyes and stands up. "You have been gone for days. We only left this place for water and food."

"Days?!" Everyone except Cynthia and Huey exclaim.

"Dimension travel is different," Cynthia explains. "We are just lucky we haven't been gone for decades."

"We must go back to that awful warlock and get this over with," Huey mumbles. He walks over to Caesar and kicks his side. "Wake up!"

"Ow!"

"Hmmm..." Wuncler rotates the richly jeweled crown in his two pudgy hands. "Hmmm." The crown vanishes in his hands and he folds his arms behind his back. "I really expected you to fail this task, but you exceeded my expectations. Wishes are what you seek? Wishes you shall get."

Riley jumps. "Finally!"

"But be aware," he holds a finger up. "They do not say 'be careful what you wish for' for nothing. Each wish comes with a price...good or bad, and you shall live with it for the rest of your miserable little lives."

"Yeah yeah we get it!" Riley brushes ut off, "I wish--" Huey covers his mouth, "Good comes to those who wait."

Wuncler rubs his chin. "Let us start with you." He points at Cynthia. "What is it you desire, wizardress?"

"I...I wish..." Cynthia frowns and looks over at Huey. He doesn't respond with an expression and shrugs. "I wish..."

I wish I could control my powers.

"I...I cannot control my powers." She buries her face in her hands. "I am...like a bomb. Sometimes I have control, other times I do not. I hurt those around me.

"Pearsons from the first generation have always being the ultimates. Even my father is grand wizard who hosts these battles. Huey, being a Pearson means I hold a power. The embarrassing part is that I cannot access it."

"Yes you can."

Cynthia sighs and shakes her head. "You fail to under--"

"No. I agree, you do hold a great power. A power deep inside," Huey interrupts. "You think you cannot access it, wizard, but you can. You just keep telling yourself that you cannot. You think only the Warlock can help you..." Huey pauses. "The mind is a powerful thing, wizard. You underestimate it...stop before it underestimates you."
