Unpredictable Love

Forgive and Forget :Chapter 5

"Hello Steven"I joyfully greeted as my left shoulder leaned on the door and my right hand on my hip that was popped out a bit. My left leg was bent forward a bit.
Steven viewed me and laughed, "Hello Ava" he said putting his right hand behind his head and closing his eyes smiling.
I stopped doing my pose as I giggled to his body language he gave back to me. "Come in"I smiled opening my hand gesturing for him to come into my room. Steven smiled and looked over at me, noticing his strong structured jaw line.
"You have such a nice place considering you work often"Steven complimented as he scanned my room. I was shutting the door as I walked up behind him, "Thanks haha"I smiled walking over to my bed. " So why did you decide to come in through this door way?" Curiously awaiting his reply.
Sitting down on the edge, "Sit down"I suggested patting on a spot on the bed by me. " That wasn't the door?" Looking back scrutinizing the room, "I guess that is a weird place to put the entrance" Still keeping my eyes on him ,"Yeah but it's fine I just imagined that you'd enter through the other door. It doesn't matter which one I was just curious" I dimpled
Steven turned back at me and continued to walk towards my hand.
Where I was indicating him to sit ,he sat down beside me.
"So what happened?"Steven said losing his smile ,I kind of felt some feeling I couldn't describe.
"Well I was walking over to my car when he called me over so I was trying to resist him. But I couldn't ,I walked towards him then yelled at him and he kind of raised his voice back at me. Then I yelled again when the word babe slipped out of my mouth. I got red and started to walk back to my car. The next day he came over I didn't expect him to come over but opened the door since he is my boss.
He gave me roses those over there, I then questioned him but he wanted to show me his love;I knew it wasn't real but I wanted to feel it and receive it."I explained as Steven intentionally listened to me.

I tried to look down to lose eye contact with him. Steven stayed silent for a bit as he stared at me. I could see him from the corner of my eye as I kept looking down at the floor.

"Listen Ava, I know how it feels to love someone or think you do and knowing their fake love is so powerful on you but they'll love you less if you let them see through you. I'm not disappointed because I know what you were going through but I am sad more like despondent. That I let him hurt you I'm suppose to help protect you too since you're now my friend."Steven said still not losing his focus on me. His serious face expression made me feel secure ,"Thanks Steven but these thoughts and feelings make me stress and feel regret upon everything I'm trying to forget"I replied looking back up at him meeting his eyes again.

is glare starring straight at me made me feel like he could read my thoughts."Don't those are just thoughts of a lesson you learned and everyone makes mistakes it's impossible not to plus this wouldn't even be a mistake to others ,it's based off of your judgement. I'm not saying other people's opinions matter but I'm just letting you know that you shouldn't stress too much over your choices that you make my Ava"Steven slightly smiled as he just kept staring at me.
I slowly looked up at him I kept losing focus with his eyes but I'm nervous when it comes to making eye contact with others.
"Thanks Steven for being here for me"I smiled looking at my reflection through his eyes.
He smirked ,"I'm not doing a favor I'm your friend, this is what friends do."Steven said getting a big serious look again. I just kept my smile and stared at him,"If you...Are you going to remember this?"I stuttered
"Yes but in a good way knowing that I came to help you knowing you could trust me"Steven clearly stated
I just stared at his deep stare piercing through me.
"Ava I'll visit you again but I have to go and run some errands"Steven classified
"Oh okay it's fine come back whenever you're always welcomed all day everyday Steven"I smiled happily.
"Thanks you are too but if you get caught we will both have to have each others back."He smiled at me.

"Alright"I nodded as I smiled watching him get up from my bed.
I got up after him ,he walked over to the door. I went after him, "Steven!"I yelled ,Steven turned back around quickly looking concerned, "I know that I keep saying it but thank you so much I'll always be here for you"I replied staring at him. As Steven stared back at me with a smile appearing on his face, "No problem Ava, I have your back and you have mine I'll protect you more than you'll protect yourself..Bye."Steven said as he grinned and walked out into the hallway.

I watched him get further to the end getting closer to the stairs, "Ugh I wonder if Alexander is thinking about me right now?"I wondered as I shut the door leaning my back on it.
Steven's P.O.V
"I wonder if she thinks about me like I think about her?"Steven mumbled as he was walking down the stairs.
He thought about me and our moments that we have shared. Slowing down the memories he had of how I smiled and viewing my face.
A few days had passed since Alexander's and my passionate moment.
