Fighting venom with venom :Chapter 20

Finally making our way back to the small town ,feeling a little light headed from the ride. I stumbled a bit after peeling myself off the ride, alongside Alexander. Taking in every detail of the view around me, couples appearing delightful accompanied by their adored one, kids laughing and playing. Families spread out in every crowd ,friends smiling so carefree.
I spotted a caricature ,"Omg Alexander let's get our picture drawn!" Cupping my hands up to my chest ,"I've always wanted to do this."
Alexander smiled in agreement then headed over to the guy.
After a few tries on deciding on how to pose Alexander pulled me in with his firm tight grip. I was close up on his chest feeling his heartbeat, we smiled looking at one another.
The caricature revealed his finished work, "Omg its so cute!" ,I enthusiastically shouted .Later immediately receiving our artsy portrait, I admired every detail not even noticing my enchanted smile.
"Thank you" ,I heard Alexander say to the artist as he paid him.
"Before it gets dark I want to show you something, around sunset" ,Alexander said from behind beside my ear. I smiled ,"Okay."

Highlights of tonight included going to a small farm zoo, Alexander laughed nervously, "Can I take it off now?"
"Aww no. Let me take a picture first!", Alexander stiffly stood still as the green feathered parrot moved about on his shoulder.
Including, grabbing some cold drinks walking up the crowded Street surrounded by different sceneries ,

We recited the cliche couple cheesy lines, "I honestly thought that the bird was going to fly away. I was trying to signal you, to take it off before it did." Alexander laughed ,I sipped on my frap as I laughed widening my eyes, "That would've been awkward."

Walking into this thrift store ,skimming through the clothes racks. Rushing to the changing rooms ,throwing on an outfit. Alexander stood in front of the door waiting for me. Strutting out posing in an awkwardly pose, "Hipster or what?" ,I joked as I tilted my head away ,my glasses glistened viewing Alexander; who grinned shaking his head, pinching his chin.

Hanging the clothes on the reject rack ,searching for Alexander who popped up beside me, startled I jolted, "Ready?" ,he kind of giggled.

Entering the dimed aquarium I spotted a gift store before I could take a step Alexander grabbed my hand, sending hot chills through my chest. We explored every inch ,reaching near the exit a toobed tank that reached all the way to the ceiling. Filled with bright scaled fish ,the neon light reflected off their scales. I intentionally stared not realizing that Alexander wasn't beside me ,until he spoke making me tense up from shock again. Turning around to face him he held up a shiny ,white ,purple pastel pearl necklace with a shell attached to it. "I spotted this over there and decided it'd look perfect on you", handing me the necklace. I smiled hoping that the darkness hid my burning red cheeks, "Aww Alexander it's so pretty and vibrant! Thank you!" ,I held it in between my fingers, staring up into his eyes. He placed his hands on my lower back ,"You're so beautiful Ava." ,I was feeling the romantic vibe from the place which only made me blush even more, I was so unfamiliar with a guy speaking so pleasant to me.

Then his expression changed ,"I know that we barely got to see more stores and things but I really need to take you to this place", I continually gazed into his marble eyes. "Oh okay let's go", calmly but in my head I was excited.

Alexander pulled out a blind fold of his pocket ,wrapping it around my head. Guiding me through the town, then occasionally explaining to strangers who passed by why I was blind folded, I guess because they gave him weird stares.

After awhile I began to feel dizzy ,then the ground's texture changed and I heard plates clashing. "Are we here?", eagerly grinning. Alexander sighed to my right, "I should've covered your ears, yes we're here." Untying my blind fold ,being exposed to a fancy and luxurious restaurant ,I saw a couple of waiters and customers smiling at me in awe.

I felt my cheeks hurting not even realizing that I was still smiling, we were seated in the center of the restaurant.

Our waiter appeared as if she was a brides maid so nicely dressed and fixed up, she took our order of Philly Steak Salad. Examining the restaurant horse themed ,viewing the customers' attire ,taking a quick glance at my own I felt as if I was underdressed. "Do you like it here?", Alexander peered over in my direction. "Yes! It's so beautiful ,I love it. Fancy," Alexander kept his smile and focus on me.

"I just don't think I'll be able to eat like the rest all fancy, then placing your silver ware properly on the plate after being done," giving a beam of sheepish consideration. "You're fine Ava don't stress it ,you'll do just fine, promise," I felt a bit timid thinking about the food and how I was going to eat correctly.

"I bet you come here often?", I mockingly affirmed, "On special occasions when I have the time" ,I smiled.
About an hour had passed by ,Alexander and I surprisingly had finished considering that I started eating slow.
I gazed up to come in view with Alexander who's eyes met with mine, "Thank you Alexander for..Taking me out and bringing me to this beautiful place", observing the restaurant completely oblivious of Alexander.
" You're welcome expect to come often, I've been wanting to take you out from the start", his words completely caught me off guard. My eyes shot over to him, rethinking if I should ask what he meant by that.
Before I could come up with an answer Alexander began to speak again.
"I'm guessing you did enjoy today", he side smiled revealing his perfect smile. " Just wished it had a little more to it", adding a jokingly tone to my words. Guessing that he didn't get the memo by his concerned expression ,"It was a joke." I awkwardly stated ,"I knew that but I got you concerned", I rolled my eyes letting out a bit of a sigh and laugh in-between.
We were now in the car heading back to my house, when we started taking unexpected routes. Beginning to look worried I figured Alexander had seen my face expression.
