Since I had gotten off the plane before Luke, I made my way through towards border control, and waited for him since I had kept a hold of our passports.

I was only waiting for around 3 minutes, when Luke came running towards me. He dropped his bags and scooped me up in his arms. People around us probably thought we hadn't seen each other in months.

He spun me around, before bringing his lips to mine. We kissed for a good few minutes, when I broke away. I laughed as he set me back down on the ground. I wrapped my hands around the back of his neck and put my forehead on his. He breathed heavily for a few seconds before whispering " I thought you'd left me." I shook my head and kissed him gently. "Never" I whispered back. " I'm still upset, but you did a pretty good job of making me feel better." I smiled.

"Eh, excuse me?" We both turned our heads to see a blonde woman in the security booth. " Sorry to interrupt your little moment, but as you can probably see everyone has moved over towards the baggage claim, so if you could hurry along with whatever this is, that would be great!" She said, whilst chewing her gum obnoxiously loud. I grabbed my bags from the floor and hurried over towards her booth.

"Baby, I love you." Luke said, wrapping his arms around my waist and putting his head on my shoulder. Turns out there was a delay in the bags getting from the plane to the conveyor belt, so we had a little time to kill. I put my hands over his, before kissing his cheek and whispering a quick " I love you too". The noise of the conveyor belt running startled us, so we quickly looked over to the tunnel where the bags where being released. Luckily our bags were one of the first to come round, so we grabbed our suitcases and headed towards the taxi.

Our taxi driver, Stephen was really friendly and immersed us in conversation as soon as we sat in the taxi.

"Where are you two headed then?" He asked, giving us a grin.
"The Royal Sydney Hotel, please." Luke replied, giving me a quick peck and throwing his arm over my shoulder.
"Well I do hope you enjoy your honeymoon in Sydney. There's a heck of a lot to do. I mean, you could visit the Opera House, go see the Great Barrier Re-" I cut him off.
"Sorry, but it's not our honeymoon. We're actually here for a school reunion. " I grinned. Stephen chuckled. "Sorry bout' that, you just give off that honeymoon vibe. Maybe that's weird, I dunno." Both Luke and I laughed as I snuggled my head into the crook of Luke's neck.

I was about to nod off, when Luke whispered in my ear.
"A honeymoon wouldn't be that bad, right?" I smiled and put my hand on his chest.
"Of course not baby." Luke grinned.
"Good, cause I'm planning on taking you away once we're married." I looked up and kissed his jaw.
"I can't wait."

I heard my phone go off, so I dug it out of my bag and checked my texts, seeing one from Lottie and a couple from my mum.

From: Lottie

Hey Alyssa xxx
My plane's landed so I'm just on my way to the hotel with Calum Hood. Do you remember him from school? I didn't until around an hour ago !! Can't wait to see you and Luke. X

I replied quickly to my mum before texting her back.

To: Lottie

Hey Lottie x
Me and Luke are in the taxi so we'll see you soon xxx Luke will be excited to see Calum, and I'm surprised you didn't recognise him Lotts, he was like you're best friend ?! (apart from me, of course) I can't wait to see you too, see you soon x

I slipped my phone back into my bag and snuggled further into Luke's embrace.

That'll be $13.78 please." Stephen said as we pulled up to the hotel. Luke passed him through the money as I exited the taxi. I stood up and looked towards the sky. It had been years since we visited home, and I was excited to see everyone again. Stephen brought my suitcase round and set it down on the curb beside me.

"Well I do hope you two enjoy your stay. And your reunion, obviously." He smiled. Luke wrapped his hands around my waist and rested his head on mine.
"Thank you Stephen, see you around" I waved him off as he re-entered his taxi. He honked his horn and waved out of the window as he drove away. I laughed and grabbed my suitcase, grabbing Luke's hand with my free hand.

"Oh, I forgot to say that Lottie sat next to someone pretty familiar on the plane" I said to Luke, giggling.
"Oh yeah?" He asked, whilst resting his forehead on mine. I smiled.
"A certain Calum Hood? Does it ring a bell?" I laughed. Luke's jaw dropped.
"You're kidding?! That means he'll be upstairs right?" He asked excitedly. I grinned and nodded. We both turned round to face the hotel.
"You ready?" I asked, smiling.
"Of course, baby." He replied, squeezing my hand. We grabbed our stuff and headed inside.

We checked into room 93 on the 2nd floor, and as soon as we got out the lift, I heard a familiar voice. I turned to Luke, grinned at him and ran down the corridor. Lottie, who I hadn't seen in at least 3 years, was just outside room 94, looking as if she was headed downstairs.

As soon as she saw me, we both ran towards each other, hugging like we were long lost sisters. I started crying, my mascara probably smearing all over my face. We laughed and let each other go. I had been so caught up in the moment that I didn't even realise Calum was standing next to her. He had that cute cheesy grin on his face that I hadn't seen since we had left school.

I was surrounded by the people that made me happy, which meant I knew that the reunion was gonna be a night to remember.
