"Friday Part 2"

Joel's P.O.V

It was currently 5:00 pm, and I am still not sure if I should go to Isabella's Masquerade party. But perhaps attending Isabella's party will help me get distracted. Well I guess I am going to attend the party after all. I just first need to ask my mom for permission.

I rushed downstairs to the kitchen to find my mom. "Mamá, can I go out tonight?" I asked nicely. "¿A qué hora?" She questioned. "At 8:00 but I'm leaving at 7:30," I replied. "¿Con quien?" She then asked. "With my friends," I replied once again. "¿Donde y que vas hacer?" she then added.

"I am going to Isabella's house she invited me to a party," I replied once again. "Okay mijo I will let you go but with some conditions," She stated after thinking about it for a while. "Okay what are they?" I replied calmly. "Okay, first clean your room and then please talk to Gabo he has been having some problems lately," She replied a bit worried.

"Okay mom, thank you, I love you," I added quickly as I rushed back upstairs to my room. Luckily for me my room wasn't too messy. But it still needed some cleaning... After about 40 minutes of cleaning my room I was finally finished. Now time to go talk to my little brother.

I quickly then stepped out into the hallway and knocked on his door. After a few seconds Gabo finally opened his door. I greeted him with a, "hello little bro." "Oh cut it out Joel, what did mom send you to talk to me about this time?" He asked, as I walked inside his room. Wow his room was cleaner than mine.

"Mom!? What are you talking about? I haven't seen that woman in ages, just kidding don't tell her I said that," I replied, "Now seriously are you okay? Is there anything bothering you? Can I help you with anything?" I asked. "Well actually there is this girl, and I really like her but I don't know what to do," Gabo replied.

"Wow, I don't know what to say, for I'm in the same situation," I admitted. "Really?" Exclaimed Gabo. "Yeah, but here is my advice to you, if you really like this girl you should let her know and if she rejects you, she's the one loosing here because you're a great guy and you deserve the best of the best," I replied honestly.

"Thank you Joel, it really means a lot to me, I love you Joelsito," said Gabo as he embraced me in a hug. After hugging him for a while I finally stepped out to the hallway. He then quickly added "By the way good luck with your mystery girl, you also deserve the best." "Thank you," I said as I stepped back into my room to get ready.

*30 minutes later*

After showering and taking my time choosing my outfit, I decided on some black skinnies, a black v-neck, my black leather jacket, and my black high-tops converse. As for my hair I just combed it up. And for the last touch I added my masquerade. To be completely honest here I looked pretty hot. And with that I was soon in my car on my way to the Vera's house.

*skips boring ride*

As I was driving I could not stop myself from thinking about Annabeth. She was just so special. So perfect, so beautiful, so unique. Why did she have to be my best friend's sister? Why couldn't they just be friends or something.

I wonder how Yoandri would react if I told him I liked his sister. Yup that's right I, Joel Pimentel, like Annabeth Cabrera. There I said it. If only it was that easy to tell her or even more importantly tell Yoandri. I know he has been worried about me lately. But how do you tell your best friend that you are falling for his sister?

Plus it's just a silly crush. It might go away soon. Who knows I might even find someone at this party. But even thinking about other girls didn't help. My mind just kept on drifting back to Annabeth. She was the only girl I wanted at the moment. She had taken everything away from me. But she would never feel the same towards me...

As I entered the house I was surprised to see how many people were already here. It was barely 8:10 and let me tell you the house was packed. As the loud music filled my ears I couldn't help but to scan the crowded room to see if I could catch a glimpse of her. But still I had no luck. Maybe she wasn't coming. But Yolandri was coming so there was still hope.

I wondered how she looked? Beautiful I bet, just like always. I seriously need to calm down. I sound like a teenage girl, drooling about their crush. Ugh. Who am I kidding. I just hope she shows up. But, hey maybe something interesting might happen at this party...

Another update !! This one is just a little bit shorter than the one from before. But there is so much coming. Asdfghjkl. I'm so exited!!! Anyone want to guess what might happen?? 👀😂 I honestly can't wait to continue!!! And I'm trying my best to make the chapters longer so thank you for being patient.
