"Friends?"

Annabeth's P.O.V

Why is he so cute?! Why can I not stop thinking about him?! What is going on?! Come on Annabeth it is the first day of school. Get yourself together, you can do this.
   As I made my way back to my locker to go get my English book I started thinking about him once again. Thank goodness I was alone because I am pretty sure my face turned up three shades of pink. I just could not stop thinking about him!
   And the way he looked at me back in at the field. Why did he stutter when he started talking to me? Maybe I caused him to get nervous. Oh come on Annabeth! Who are you kidding. He was not looking at you like that. He would never like you. You are just his best friend's sister.
   I quickly opened my locker and got the necessary materials out and then closed it once again. Now, all I needed to do was focus on school and on getting to English class on time. But as I made my way down to my English classroom all I could think about was him. His eyes and the way he smiled, it was just so much to take in. As I entered the classroom I looked around to see if I had any of Yoandri's friends in my class.
   To my fortune it turns out I did! Phew! Not only did I have class with Isabella, but Yoandri was also here. As I headed towards them I noticed that there was someone else sitting with them... Who could it be? Yup, you guessed right it was the one and only Joel Pimentel... Maybe this was not going to be so easy after all.

Isabella's P.O.V

   "I know I barely met you Annabeth, but I want to invite you to my masquerade party this Friday." I told her as soon as soon as she sat down with us. "And, Yoandri you are invited too, and you know I do not take no for an answer so I better see you there too, uh and you too Joel. I starts at 8:00 pm."
   "I would love to go, thank you for the invitation," replied Annabeth. That's when we were rudely interrupted by the sound of a ruler being hit against a desk. "Now, now, Ms.Cabrera, and Ms.Vera will you girls like detention so early in this semester?!" Exclaimed Mr.Evans, our English teacher, loudly.
   "Now, now, Mr.Evans you would not want to get your dick up in a bundle so early in this semester, would you?" Annabeth replied quickly.
"Ooh! Roasted!" I added. Which was quickly followed by an, "Oh fuck!" And a, "that was a good one," from Yoandri and Joel.
   "THAT IS IT! ALL FOUR OF YOU GET DETENTION! IS THAT A GOOD ONE NOW MR.PIMEMTEL ?!!" Snarled, Mr.Evans. All we could do was laugh. It was only detention after all.
   Okay I admit Johann might not approve of this behavior but I got to confess being with Annabeth is pretty amazing. Maybe having Annabeth along with us this year will not be so bad after all. Who knows how many memories we are going to make together this year.
