Annabeth's P.O.V

Okay I lied I really did cared what happened next. I know it sounds selfish but I was dying to know if I had made it or not. What if I didn't make it? What am I going to do ? Another failure to my life. I was seriously not ready to see myself sad because I didn't make it. Cheerleading really means a lot too me and I can not help myself from feeling like this. And looking at Yoandri's face I could guess I was not only worried one here. Fuck why did I even agree to this. "Annabeth are you okay?" Yoandri whispered.

"Yeah I guess I'm just really anxious you know... what if I don't make it?" I answered back sadly. "Well don't worry too much kid you did fantastic and if they don't take you they are loosing a very valuable girl but don't worry I'm sure you made it," he said sweetly. "Thank you Yoyo it means a lot little brother," I said back. "Hay niña soy mayor," he said chuckling. "Stop lying to yourself little kid," I answered back more calmed than before. Yoandri was right I had done my best and if I hadn't made the team well that was not my fault. Right?

But before I could continue thinking we were interrupted by Isabella... "Okay now for the last part, our cheer captain is...." she said calmly. Well this was it all I had worked for, without thinking it I close my eyes and let my head fall on Yoandri's shoulder. She then quickly added, "Before I name our captain I'll just like to thank all of you girls and guys for coming it really means a lot and if you didn't make it don't worry you guys did amazing and there will be another chance soon, and now our new cheerleading captain is ... Annabeth Cabrera !!"

Fuck. I had been chosen as captain after all?! I couldn't believe my ears. "YOU WON YOU WON LITTLE SISTER," Yoandri yelled over the cheers and claps which I had no idea when they had started. I was literally in shock so all I did was hugged Yoandri and then said to him, " Thank you! Thank you so much Yoandri !!"
"Why are you thanking me?" He asked still hugging me. "For believe in me so much kid and for simply being there," I said back. "That's what brothers are for I love you okay never forget that," he said as we pulled away from our hug.

"I love you more Yoandri so much more," I said back. "AND I LOVE YOU MS. CAPTAIN !!!" Isabella said as she embraced me into a tight hug. "AWES BABY THANK YOU ," I screamed back as I hugged her back. "Como gritan ustedes," Johann suddenly said coming out from nowhere. "Cállate niño nadie te pregunto," Isabella said laughing. "Rude, but anyways congratulations Annabeth on winning the captain place," he said smiling at me. "Thank you Johann and not to sound rude but what are you doing here I thought you had soccer practice," I said a bit confused.

"Oh we do have practice but Yoandri texted us the news and well Erick kind of convinced all of us to come and congratulate you," he answered. But before I could ask where Erick was he wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me into a hug. Which made me blush and Yoandri glare. "Hey there pretty congratulations on getting the captain place," he said. "T-Thank you E-Erick," I said stuttering a bit too much. "Okay Erick hands off that's a bit too much hugging for today," Yoandri said pulling him away and standing in between us. Which made me blush harder and Isabella giggle.

"Anyways as much as I love my sister and the support given here we really need to go practice guys," Yoandri then said. "I'll see you soon cutie," Erick said as he kissed my cheek and ran off before Yoandri could say anything. "I'm going to make him run laps all afternoon for that," Yoandri then said. "Awes you are so cute when you are overprotective," Isabella said as she also kissed Yoandri on his cheek and also left to congratulate the rest of the girls. Leaving Yoandri frozen a blushing hard. "Awe Yoyo is blushing," Johann suddenly said chuckling.

"Twenty laps Johann go and I better not catch you walking any of them," Yoandri said to Johann blushing harder. "Bye Annabeth see you around," Johann said laughing as he ran away towards the soccer field. "You need to control yourself Yolandra," I said laughing. "Shut up Anna Banana," he said smiling widely. "You are killing me just tell her," I said to him. "Maybe soon I will but right now I really need to go practice," he said shyly. "Be careful and I'll see you soon," I said to him. "Actually as much as I would love your support I'll prefer you to stay here or at home," he said nervously.

"And why is that?" I asked confused. "Erick is very touchy with you today so I can't have that," he said sternly. "Ugh fine I'll see you at home and do your best kid," I said giving him a quick hug. "Always," he said as we pulled away and he ran towards the soccer field. I was about to make my way towards when Jessica suddenly came up to me out of nowhere. "Well I guess you win this one Cabrera but be careful and watch yourself," she said to me suddenly. But before I could answer her back someone else answered for me... "If I were you I'll be the one watching their back," someone said. I quickly turned around and I can't help but to smile widely as I see Joel standing there.

"Was that a threat Pimentel?" She snarled back. "Take it as a warning Jessica, now go be a bitch somewhere else," he said back in an angry voice. Fuck this shouldn't be this hot. "This is not the end Cabrera," and with that Jessica walked away. "Are you okay baby?" Joel asked as he pulled me under the bleachers and closer to him. "Yes I am thanks to you my príncipe azul," I said giggling. "Well I just came to remind my beautiful princess who she belongs to," he said smirking.

"And who do I belong to?" I answered back as we started leaning in. "Um I don't know maybe this will remind you," he said as he closed the space between our lips and kissed me hard. I didn't hesitate and kissed him back immediately. But before things could get more heated or farther someone interrupted us. "Hay Dios mío Annabeth y Joel ?! Mis pobres ojitos ?!" ....
