28: Try Outs

Justin's POV

So today is Zeydae's modeling try out thing. I'm glad she considered trying it out. I think she'll love it personally.

Right now I'm just laying in bed watching her sleep. I know it might be weird but I just get a peace of mind knowing that she's happy and safe when I'm here.

Being on the road without her is really hard for me. Cause like I just want her there with me all the time but I know she has other stuff to do.

She's just a positive energy. When she's around, everyone's mood changes. She can brighten anyone's mood in a matter of seconds. That's why I love her.

I felt her start to move her legs and feet. I knew at that point she was awake. She turned around and faced me. Her eyes still closed and her hair a little messy. She opened one eye and smiled.

"Good morning beautiful" I said then planted a kiss on her lips.

"Morning" she said.

"Big day today"

"What? What's today" she asked. Really? Did she forget what today is?!?
"Zeydae today is your modeling try out" I reminded her. She looked at me wide eyed and shot up in the bed.

"Crap I can't believe I forgot! Shoot what time is it?" She asked getting out of bed and jogging into the bathroom. I reached over and grabbed her phone. I pressed the button to see what time it was.

"It's 10:36"

"Crap I think I have to be there at 11:15 can you double check for me. Look in my calendar on my phone"

"Ok" I put the password in her phone. Yes I know her password because she told me it. She knows mines as well. We have nothing to hide from each other.

I looked through her calendar and she was right. It said 11:15am.

"Yeah at 11:15 babe"

"Fuck ok. Can you drop me off? I'm just gonna take a quick shower, put some clothes on and we can head out"

"Ok I'll get dressed" I told her.

(At the modeling place)

"Thanks babe I'll see you later" she said.

"K I'll pick you up just call me" I replied. She nodded her head and ran into the building.

I hope she gets it.

Zeydae POV

So I walked in and there was a person sitting at the front desk.

"Hi I'm here for the Victoria Secret modeling try outs" I told the lady at the desk.

"Ok can I get your name please?"

"Yes its Zeydae Mancini"

"Ok here you go. The elevator is down the hall to your left and you'll be going to the 10th floor good luck!" She said.

"Thank you" I said then walked to the elevator. I looked at the time and it was 11:12. I had 3 minutes to make it.

When I finally reach the 10th floor I hear my name being called.

"Zeydae Mancini" a man said.

"Yes I'm here" I said while walking towards the guy.

"Gosh they were right! You're gorgeous!" He said smiling. I smiled.

"Thank you"

"Right this way" he said while leading me to a room.

"Here I'll take this. Go get em!" The guy said taking my purse and hat.

"Thank you" I said then took a deep breath. I opened the door then walked in.

There were 3 people sitting with papers in front of them. One man and two ladies.

"Hello you must be Zeydae" he said. I chuckled because he pronounced it wrong. He said zee-day.

"It's Zeydae" I said pronouncing it correctly while smiling.

"Ohhh ok forgive me please."

"It's fine" I reassured him.

"Are you wearing makeup?" One of the women asked me.

"No I'm not actually. I didn't have time to put any on" I told her. I really didn't. I was rushing to make it here on time.

"Wow. You are a natural beauty. My god I've never met someone as beautiful as you" she said smiling.

"Thank you" I said blushing a bit.

"I heard you didn't have any modeling background?" The guy asked/stated.

"Yes. I'm actually a musician"

"Cool. Well let's just see what you got. Walk to that wall and then do your best walk towards us" he said pointing to the wall behind me. I said ok and walked to that wall.

I took a deep breath and did my best cat walk towards them. I was asked to spin then to walk back then back towards them.

"Now walk back and I want your face to be serious and we're going to try and distract you.  No matter what we do, I want you to have that serious face on" the guy said. I nodded and walked back.

They made noises and did other things to distract me. I still maintained my serious face throughout everythig.
"Wow. Just wow" the guy said. The ladies looked very happy.

"Zeydae you're a natural. That was amazing" he said looking at me and smiling. I started to smile as well.

"Thank you"

"Hmmmm what are you doing on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of next month?" The guy asked me.

"Nothing that I know of" I told him.

"Would you like to be apart of our 2016 Victora's Secret Fashion Show?" He asked smiling at me.

I was lost for words. Like I just nailed something that I didn't know I was this good at. I crouched down and covered my mouth.

"Seriously?"

"Yeah"

"Omg I would love to. Thank You so much"

"You're very welcome. We'll contact you in a week with rehearsal times and event dates. This month is going to be a busy month for you as well as next month" the guy said.

"Ok. Again thank you" I replied back. I walked to them and shook their hands and gave them hugs.

I got my stuff from the guy earlier and made my way to the elevator. I decided to call Justin.

"Hey babe. How'd it go?" Justin asked as soon as he picked up.

"I'm finish so you can pick me up. And it went realllyyy well babe"

"Really? That's great what did they say?"

"It went so well that they want me to be apart of the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" I told him

"Holy shit Z that's great. I'm happy for you" he said with pure excitement in his voice.

"But there's only one thing wrong" I said to him.

"What's that?"

"I'm gonna be soooo busy ya know? Like traveling, events, fashion shows, photoshoots, and more stuff. I also plan on keeping my job in the orchestra. You know how much I love that job"

"Yeah but babe you know modeling and your singer/songwriter career is a whole load by itself. I know you love the orchestra but at least give it a thought cause you're never gonna get sleep" he said looking at me a little concerned.

"Yeah I will" I said to him.

We had lunch and talked about random things. Today has been a good day.
