After So Long

Kamina's P.O.V

About three years have passed since Sesshomaru left. The palace whent into mourning and choose to believe their lord had abandonded them. After a month, I returned to the palace. Being bombarded with questions, and not having the answers, I left.
Around me, no one talked about Sesshomaru. They all knew how much it hurt. Fir the first year or so of searching, I fell into a depression. My eyes dulled over and the red was gone. Now leaving a dark black. I spoke less too. And when I did speak, it was rare. My face didnt show much emotion. My voice matured and became more woman like. As well as my body.
Inuyasha started to come out on small searches with me. He's almost four now. Even though he 's young, he can process his anger towards his brother for leaving. Being the motherly figure towards him, I tried to reason with him.
Now, I was walking back into Isayoi's small village. Like always, she waited right across the stream. Inuyasha ran up to her and wrapped his arms around her legs. I walked up to her and smiled as she touched my arm. "No luck today?" Her soft voice asked. I couldnt be mad at her for asking, she was an exception. Simply, I shook my head. "No. But im off to speak with a swordsmith who knew the family. Maybe he knows something." Isayoi nodded and picked up Inuyasha. "Come visit again soon, Kamina" she said as I walked away. "We'll find brother together!" Inuyasha called. I chuckled and waved over my shoulder, then left the village.
It was a couple days travel,but within time I reached the blacksmith's home. It was at a volcano. How...nice. Anyways, I walked inside the stone cave and saw a man breathing fire down at a piece of metal. He looked up at me with his over sized eyes and the fire stopped.
"Are you Totosai?" I asked. He laughed like a mad man and nodded. "What can I do for you, Kamina?" He continued on. A puff of smoke showed up and when it dimmed down, it showed him sitting on a 3-eyed ox. I blinked and leaned against the cave wall. "How do you know my name?" Was my first question. He laughed again mindlessly, and wiggled his finger. "Inutaisho's boy stopped by. Told me some about you!" I instantly stood up again. "Sesshomaru?! He was here. Where is he now?" I asked frantically.
Totosai simply blinked and shrugged. I sighed and my eye twitched. "Did he mention anything?" I asked, using another approach. Totosai set his finger on his chin and thought about it. "Sesshomaru would kill me if I told -" i cut him off by taking out my blade. "And I'll kill you if you don't tell." I growled in a menacing voice. He gulped and chuckled.





"Tenseiga and Tessaiga?" I reviwed. Totosai nodded. "Sesshomaru was given Tenseiga as inheritance. But inuyasha will be given Tessaiga." Totosai explained. "Lord Sesshomaru wants the power of Tessaiga. That's how you'll find him". I rose to my feet and nodded. "Where is the sword?"
