(Shout out to @coolandlazy for the new cover i love it!!) Honestly, there's been a lot going on lately. In the world, In the lives around me, In my life.
I think sometimes we need a reminder that we are all human. We all know what it feels like to have something happen that we don't necessarily want.
We need to think for a minute and remember all the bad days, weeks, months, maybe even years that we've had, and then we need to realize that we have the power to save others from the same thing.
without further ado, my poem thingy:

We are human
we make mistakes
we follow our dreams
then raise the stakes,
if we are questioned
we stand firm and tall
we make our point
from upon our wall,
but sometimes we tumble
or our wall crumbles down
we feel defeated
no longer of great renown,
and sometimes that ends us
everything we worked for
we failed so many times
we no longer keep score,
but other times we get up
and brush ourselves off
no real damage
maybe a bruise and a cough,
but we stand firm with our head held high
link arms and don't deny
that we are all human with a heart and blood
and the want and hope to just be loved,
we are all human
no matter our differences,
no matter our skin color
or what we identify as,
no matter our hobbies
or our talents,
whether we believe in the same God
or no God at all,
whether we have a high level of knowledge
or have yet to be taught,
we all have a heart
that yearns to love
and to be loved.
We are all human,
It's time we start acting like it.
