Chapter 26: Christmas Eve

Olivia's POV:
~December 23rd~
I finished wrapping the last gift
I set it all up under the huge Christmas tree in our house..
I get a text from Jack
"My family wants to meet you so..they're coming to Christmas Eve dinner"
Wait? His sisters are coming in town? Not even a chat about it all..
Last minute he tells me..
I storm off & go upstairs
I throw myself on my huge bed
I cover my face with my pillow
What if they don't like me?
I let out a small tear before heading a faint knock on the door
I open the door to see Max standing there with tear stained cheeks
"I missed you" he blurts out before kissing me
I fight him but he seems to hold me tightly
I slap his face after he pulls away from me
"Max..your drunk..leave" I say smelling alcohol on his breath
He groans
"I'm fine..can we make out?" He asks laying on my bed
I shake my head
"No. I'm with someone Max.." I say frowning at the fact I kissed Max..
I love Jack..why does he have to ruin it?
"Liv..I love-"
"Stop. Max. Leave!" I yell
My eyes prickling with tears
I'm in the brink of screaming my whole heart out..
He frowns
"Liv..is it Jack that you so call..love?"
"It's not fake. It's real love I have for him..Max..I can't believe you kissed me..I love Jack with my entire body..my heart & soul..Max..I can't deal with your shit..leave or else..I'll call the cops.."
"Yes do that. Because then I'll look innocent.."
"Why?"
"A immigrate living in New York without a citizenship..wouldn't that look nice"
He says smirking
"ASSHOLE!" I yell throwing my glass of water at him
The glass breaks & water is all over him
"Fine I'll leave..goodbye hoe" he says flipping me off
I slide down the door
I feel a arm grab my hand
I jump thinking its Max again..
I look up to see Jack with red eyes
"What are you doing here?" I ask as I stand up
I'm now facing him
Our faces so close together & I can actually almost taste his lips..
He leans in closely
"I wanted to check on you..obviously I wasn't the only one.." He says
"Max..?" I say raising a eyebrow
"Liv..I love you so much.."
"I love you too Jack..I want you to know...Max's the past & I wanna be with you baby..he's a jerk...you wouldn't say such awful things to me.." I say tearing up
He wipes my tears
"Your my princess..I hate to see you cry...can I show you something?" He says patting my bed
I nod & I walk over to the edge of the bed
He makes me close my eyes
I stay with my eyes closed for a long time..
"Jack..-"
"Is your mom home?"
I shake my head
She's out with Bella doing things..
They won't be home until WAYYYY LATER.
he makes me open my eyes
I look around my room to see
My lights dimmed & candles lit
I see rose petals leading to my bed
I smile at him
"I don't wanna pressure you into anything..but..do you wanna-"
I shake my head
"I want you to make love to me Jack." I say smiling
He gives me a raised eyebrow
"Are you sure your ready for this? I can always wait.." He says
I kiss him interrupting him talking
"I'm ready.." I say grabbing his hand tightly
"Be soft on me though..." I add playing with his shirt
"You got it babe" he says & kisses me
I lay on the bed with my legs crossed
He locks the door & slips off his shirt & climbs on the bed
He kisses me & unbuttons my shirt..

We're watching Netflix..
Jack went home to change & came back in clean clothes..
I took a shower as soon as he left,.
I was so sweaty..
You know why duh..
I tied my hair up in a messy yet tight bun
I lay down cuddles up in his embrace
He kisses my head
I trace my fingers along his defined muscles
He looks at me
"Your so perfect." He whispers
"Thank you baby" I say & peck his lips
I hear a knock
"Hi mom" I say as the door opens
"Oh Jack..your here?" She asks looking at Jack intensely
"Yes..I wanted to keep her company.." He says smiling at her
Bella sneaks off to her room
I giggle & my mom leaves
I kiss him softly & he traces circles on my back making me giggle mid-kiss
My mom walks in making us stop..
She brings a tray
"Hot cocoa for you both..btw..merry Christmas you both" she says & winks at us
We drink our cocoa & I giggle wiping the corner of Jack's mouth which had whipped cream on it..
He smiles & pecks my lips
"Merry Christmas babygirl"
"Merry Christmas baby" I say smiling at him..
~9am~
I slept like a baby last night..
I wake up smiling..
I find Jack nowhere..then it hits me..it's Christmas Eve & his family flys in..
His dad I obviously know..
But his mom & sisters I have no clue about them..
I walk downstairs in my long warm pants,loose sweatshirt & fuzzy slippers
Bella almost dressed the same as me
"We'll be opening the gifts at night" she says
"I know Bella darling.." I say rolling my eyes playfully
"Watch it...Santa's watching"
I giggle as she said that..
I make some yummy breakfast for me,Bella & my mom..
I text Jack to see what's up..
His family had arrived & now he's taking them to his place so they can change..
He also sent me this text
"don't worry they are always changing & taking forever...so don't rush"
I giggle & I put my phone down so I can go get dressed..
~7pm~
Dinner is already served & I'm dressed in a red long sleeved mid length dress
I have my hair curled & I did a half up/half down look
I have red lipstick on with eyeliner
A little bit of gold eyeshadow & that's it really..
I cross my legs & watch Jack's mother talk about Jack's company
"So..you work there don't you Olivia?" She asks me
I nod
"Yes ma'am..I work there as Jack's P.A"
"Sounds fun..how's it like for you? I mean you two date which isn't good for business..Jack's a rich boy & lets be honest..very handsome..the ladies must glue onto him like bees to honey-"
Jack stops her
"Mom! We're happy.." He says smiling at me & holding my hand
I frown slightly
"So..Olivia..is it true your from France?"
"I'm mixed a bit..my mom is French & my dad was Spaniard..he moved to France at a young age..my mom & him grew up together..funny right? She went through so much with him yet he was the one for her.." I say before tearing up.
"I never truly knew how your dad died..what happened?" She say smirking a bit
I burst into tears
"Mom you got her upset!" Jack says holding me & wiping my tears
"Come babe" he says grabbing my hands & helping me up the stairs
Giving his mom a glare
She rolls her eyes
~a while later~
After I cried my heart out to Jack
"I'm sorry babe.." I say wiping my tears with a tissue
"Babe it's totally fine..he was your dad..my mom crossed a line too far..I'm sorry for that.." He says kissing my hand
"Your so good to me.." I say giggling a bit
"I missed that giggle of yours" he says & pecks my lips
All of sudden I hear screams downstairs
We walk out to see his sisters yelling at his own mother
"They're happy mom!"
"She's a nobody..he's a rich boy,,he can find a better girl..who's wealthy & good locking like him.."
I run to my room hearing his mother say those mean things
He shuts the door & kneels in front of me
While I'm sitting at the edge of the bed
"Babe..your a amazing girl...don't listen to her..your beautiful,smart,talented-"
"Am I wealthy enough for you?" I blurt out
"Babe..that doesn't matter-"
"Yes it does..it seems if I'm not..we can't work out-"
"That's pure bull Liv..I love you for you..not because of money or looks." He says cupping my face
"The moment I saw you walk into my office..I knew you were the one.." He says
A single tear rolls down my cheek
He wipes it quickly
"My mom is a idiot. I'm glad my dad's gonna divorce her."
"Wait what?" I say looking at him weirdly
"My dad said my mom drive him crazy..he couldn't deal with her..he's divorcing her..she doesn't know it tho..he's gonna tell her.." He says
"I'm sorry Jack."
"No..don't be. The way she treated you..she can go back to where she came from..better yet I'll make her leave.."
"Jack! She's your mother! I'm the one who is causing all of this!" I say
He runs to me & holds me tight
"No your not. My parents had problems for years now..this didn't happen a day ago..baby..your the best thing that's happened to me..I wanted this Christmas Eve to be the best..I screwed it up." He says
I cup his face with my tiny hands
"Not when I have you as my boyfriend." I say smiling a little
He looks up & drags me to the corner of my room
"Mistletoe?" He says wiggling his eyebrows
"Come here handsome" I say & kiss him passionately
Under the mistletoe..

His family left.,
I'm downstairs freshly cleaned from the shower
In a warm footie onesie
Jack's in comfy sweats & sweatshirt
He's on the couch smiling at me
Playing with my hair
"Time to sleep sissy" Bella says walking up the stairs with sleepy eyes like mines
I nod & I yawn as I stand up
Jack grabs me & carries me bridal style to my room
I giggle
He climbs into my bed & covers us both
He kisses my head as I close my eyes
"Merry Christmas princess"
We fall asleep holding each other close
