Terrors

"Now follow me, we have a new mission". Alex nodded and walked a half-step behind him as he led the way to the main room; only Superman, Manhunter, Superboy, M'gann, Aqualad and Red Tornado were in the room.

Batman opened a holo-screen to show four different people holding identification signs and wearing prison orange. "This past Fourth of July, these four ice-villains staged simultaneous attacks; Mr. Freeze, Icicle Junior, Killer Frost and Captain Cold."

"They were all easily apprehended. Perhaps too easily. Cold and Frost were immediately sent to Belle Reve Penitentiary."

Two pictures, one of a blue girl with darker blue hair and a man with a tan, bald head and sunglasses, shrank and moved to a picture of what Alex assumed to be the prison.

"A federal prison designed to house super-criminals," Batman said confirming Alex's assumption.

"The seventeen-year-old Icicle Junior was sent to a juvenile facility. Mr. Freeze to his usual cell in Arkham Asylum, but Freeze petitioned the court to be declared legally sane and Junior sued to be tried as an adult. As a result, both await transport to Belle Reve. Which seems to be the goal all along." Junior's and Freeze's pictures also shrank and joined the other two on the prison picture.

"I am sending in the three of you to find out why." he finished.

"Who inside the prison will know their true identities?" Aqualad asked, already getting the plan.

"No-one, we cannot be sure that the faculty is not compromised. M'gann and Superboy will be playing Tommy and Tuppence Terror who have gone on a three- state rampage and Alex will sneak in using one of her aliens or her magic. Your job is to find out what is going down at Belle Reve and put a stop to it. Alex is your back up and in charge of extraction. Aqualad and Red Tornado will be outside waiting for things to go south and provide assistance then. Got it?"

M'gann, Superboy, and Alex nodded in confirmation to the plan.

"Good, now Superman and Martian Manhunter will capture the two Terrors and put the Meta suppressing collars on them, then they will be transferred to a secure location until this mess is cleared up. Let's move." Batman ordered. Alex transformed into her anodite form and flew along with Superman and Martian Manhunter while Superboy, M'gann, Aqualad and Batman followed behind in a jet..

"By my calculations, the Terror Twins should be near the bridge and thus ready for capture any minute. Wait here and put the collars on them the first chance you get." They all nodded, hid behind the various displays, and waited.

'You know, time flies a lot faster when you are actually in the fight' Alex thought, they spent about an hour hiding behind the displays all cramped up and tense. They heard the fighting from outside (loud car alarms, explosions and tearing metal isn't quiet) and, just when Alex thought they would never get here, two forms broke through the ceiling and skidded to a stop in the centre of the room. They stirred a little and stood up before Aqualad and Alex placed the collars around their necks.

"Woah, that don't feel right..."Tommy said in a southern accent, he tried to move and throw Aqualad off but it didn't work "But... how? I just gone toe to toe with Superman."

"Congratulations, that's more quality time than he's ever given me." Superboy said, stepping forward, his hair was now dyed blonde like Tommy's.

M'gann stepped forward and put a hand on Tuppence.

"Got your inspiration, sister Tuppence?" Conner asked mimicking the southern accent perfectly.

"Why I believe I do, brother Tommy." M'gann responded also in perfect southern accent.
