Chapter 8

Camila POV

I woke up snuggling close into Lauren's chest. She was laying on her back and I was more than half way on her. I closed my eyes enjoying the warmth of Lauren's body and her lovely company.

"Don't." She mumbled 

The girl beneath me was sleep talking I giggled and responded,"don't what?"

"Don't... hurt.. Camila." She whispered.

I was shocked at what she said I kissed her cheek saying,"wake up beautiful."

Her eyes opened and they were extremely bright emerald colored green. I was completely puzzled. How are they that green?

"Your eyes Lauren.." I said in shock.

"My what... oh no." She freaked out.

"Look in the mirror." I told her.

I rolled off of her and she got up walking towards her bathroom. She looked in the mirror and saw what I saw after she woke up.

"Shit." She mumbled.

"Camila come here and kiss me please."

I did as told and walked over to her she had her eyes closed and I closed my eyes softly kissing her lips. Lauren kissed back delicately. I pulled away and opened my eyes. I saw those normal eyes I loved, the emerald ones were gone.

"How did that happen?" I asked.

"Right.. I'll give you answers after you break up with Austin."

"Okay thank you." I said kissing her cheek then I pulled her into a hug she gently wrapped her arms around me.

She never squeezed too tight she was always so gentle. I sighed in comfort of her body on mine. We broke apart and she grabbed my hand leading me downstairs. Once we reached the bottom of the steps I smelled a baked treat Lauren intertwined our fingers together making us lock hands. We entered in the kitchen and Ally was pulling out a dozen muffins.

"Morning Ally" Lauren spoke.

"Morning want a banana muffin Camila?" Ally offered.

"Banana muffin oh my gosh yes I love bananas" I screamed with joy.

Lauren gave me a kiss on my fore head saying,"your adorable"

"Aww camren." Dinah said from the couch.

"What" Lauren and I said at the same time.

"It's your ship name I made." The bigger girl said.

"No it's Laurmila" Normani complained from the carpet floor of the living room.

"ITS CAMREN YO" Dinah shouted.

Lauren and I giggled at them and then I spoke,"I like camren"

"Yea I like the cam part" Lauren said.

Lauren came close to me whispering," can I call you camz?"

"Yes of course." I responded smiling.

She backed up from me letting go of my hand reaching for a muffin saying,"I'm eating one of these before they get cold."

"Hand me one Lauren?" I asked.

She gave me a banana muffin I ate it and it tasted the best especially because it was a banana muffin. I finished the treat then Lauren and I went back upstairs into her bedroom. We entered her room and my phone started buzzing from my bag I unzipped my bag and pulled out my phone.

The phone said Austin was calling I picked it up and said,"Hello ."

Lauren grabbed me from behind holding on to me close.

"Hi my beautiful girlfriend." He said.

I rolled my eyes remembering that I'm still dating him.

"Tonight lets see a movie."

"Okay can you pick me up from Lauren's house at 6, her house is past my house."I asked.

"Yea sure... I can't wait to see you." Austin said.

Lauren shook after he said that I turned to face her still on the phone with Austin.

"See you soon." I told him then I hung up.

"Are you... okay?" I asked her cautiously.

"Yea, I just really don't like him" She confessed.

"I will break whatever heart he has and be with you I promise." I said smiling.

"You sure you promise?"

"Yes I promise Lauren."

"Good "she said then gave me a peck on my lips

5:56 pm

The plan was I was going to wait outside for him in the driveway and I was going to dump him. I stood patiently waiting for him and I looked at the front door Lauren was standing there waiting she gave me a smile. I smiled back happily then I heard a car traveling on the road coming towards Lauren's house. The car pulled up parking on the side of Lauren's lawn. I heard a car door slam shut then in a flash Austin was right in front of me I was scared I felt like I was in twilight.
I looked in his eyes and they were bright red and his skin was so pale which Austin is never that pale. The Austin I knew was now gone and I had no idea what was standing in front of me.

"Hello Camila" he chuckled.

"Austin I'm not going on a date with you tonight cause I'm breaking up with you." I said with whatever confidence I had in me.

"Well I honestly don't care I was in it just to kill you." Austin smirked.

The hair on the back of my neck stood up I slowly took a step back. I ran into to someone it was Lauren behind me. She then stepped in front of me standing in between Austin and I.

"Your not touching her you filthy blood sucker." Lauren threatened.

"Watch me" Austin taunted.

Then I stepped backwards until my back was against the garage door and Lauren was punching Austin in the jaw. He grabbed her hand and punched her gut hard. Austin then lifted Lauren and threw her to the grass. Everything happened in slow motion Lauren got up running toward me Austin had fangs on his teeth running in my direction. Lauren leapt in mid air changing into a big furry animal. She changed into a giant wolf right in front of my eyes. Her clothing was ripped in mid change and they fell to the ground in pieces. The wolf tackled Austin pinning him down on the drive way. Three other wolfs emerged from the back yard and gathered around him securing him down even more.The wolf that was Lauren tore off his head killing him. I stood in shock watching everything happen. The three wolfs dragged him away along with his head deeper into the forest disappearing out of my sight. The wolf that was Lauren held her head down and looked at me whining.

"Your a.. a." I gulped.. "Were wolf."

Her eyes were that bright emerald green again and it was piercing into my soul. Her fur was a beautiful tan and orange with a tan white muzzle. I reached my hand out to her nose and she walked forward leaning against it closing her emerald eyes. Wolf Lauren stepped back and howled creating a beautiful harmony with the other wolfs in the forest. I kinda immediately freaked out about everything and ran inside Lauren's house leaving the enormous wolf standing there in her driveway.
