Emil's POV

"Hey babe" I say.

"You said you wanted to talk about something?" She says getting right to the point. I sigh before taking a deep breath.

"Y..yeah" I stutter.

"Em......what is it? What's wrong?" She asks.

"Selena I'm a-"

Selena's POV

"Em......what is it? What's wrong?" I ask.

"Selena I'm a Merman" He says.

"W..what???" I stutter. I'm completely shocked right now.

"I'm a merman, so is Collie, that's why we don't go swimming and stuff" Emil says.

"Why are you just telling me this?" I ask madly cause he has been keeping this from me.

"I don't know I guess I didn't feel like it was so important" He replies.

"NOT IMPORTANT, why wouldn't this be important Em?" I yell.

"Why are you getting so mad?" He asks.

"Cause you just freaking told me this know, Why did you finally decide to tell me?" I angrily reply.

"Cause I'm half merman half human so are child is gonna be half mer person and half human" Emil says. I am shocked, angry, and happy, but mostly angry.

"Don't contact me" I snap before hanging up and crying. I don't know why I started crying but I just did.

Emil's POV

"Don't contact me" Selena snapped before hanging up.

"Fuck" I yell and throw my phone across the room. Collin comes out and look's at me.

"Did you tell her?" he asks.

"Yep" I sigh angrily.

"And??" He adds.

"She is fucking pissed" I scream and throw a vase against the wall. Collin's phone rings and he answers it.

"Hey babe" He smiles.

"Ok Nyla love you too bye, and be safe please" he says.

"I miss you too" He laughs.

"Ok bye" He says before hanging up.

I'm confused and stressed out and need to clear my head, I need to get away for a couple of days. I run out the back door and across the yard, Collin is running after me but I don't stop. I run, and run until I'm at the edge of a cliff.

"Em don't just stay" Collin yells but it's to late I've already jumped.

Seconds later I land in the ocean. I wait 10 seconds, and then I shift. I swim as fast as I could to my special place, only I know about.

Collin's POV

Great Emil ran away, well he didn't run he swam. I need to get him back. He hasn't ran away since he's been seeing Selena, she fixed him, he used to be so broken. Are parents used to beat us, he got it worse because he used to freeze in fear. I would yell at him to run and hide but he wouldn't move.

When we left he got into drugs and alcohol, he was always high, he dropped out of school, got involved in bad things. I don't want to see him broken again, he needs to come back.
