Chapter Thirty (Part 1- Intruder)

*3 Days Later*

Maize's POV

I walked out of mine and Alec's house holding one of my 3 day old babies.

Alec, the twins, Nyla, Artemis, and I went back to mount Olympus after the twins were born, it's safer for the twins this way.

I haven't talked to Artemis since the twins birth.

She's been really upset about Apollos death.

I've been talking to Apollo a lot, since I'm the only one who can see her I do get the odd stare in public.

"Hey Mai" Apollo says from behind me, scaring me.

"Please stop doing that" I say.

"Sorry" she smiles.

She floats over beside me and looks at the little baby in my arms as I walk to the infant building where my merbaby is being held.

Since she doesn't have feet yet and needs to stay in water.

"What's her name" Apollo asks still looking at the baby in my arms.

"Isabella Grace Andrews, Bella for short" I smile looking down at my precious baby, she looked at me with her big blue eyes.

"Why isn't she in water?" Apollo asks.

"She wasn't born with a tail, her twin Charlotte was" I say. Apollos eyes widen.

"Can I come see?" She asks.

"It's not like anybody can stop you anyways" I chuckle.

"True" Apollo says.

I laugh and enter the infant hospital.

I sign in and head to the room Alec will be in.

I walk in and see him in the pool holding Charlotte.

I smile at how cute they look.

"Is that Isabella's twin? Charlotte right?" Apollo asks. I smile and nod.

"She's the rare isn't she?" Apollo says. I nod again.

"But she's beautiful" I smile. Apollo nods agreeing.

"Keep her safe, don't let to many people know the truth" she says. I nod and look back down at Bella.

"How's Artemis been?" She asks. I frown.

"Horrible" I say. Apollo frowns. I air hug her.

"I'm patting your back and hugging you right now so go along with it" I say, she laughs but pretends to hug me back.

"Hey babe" Alec says.

"And Apollo but I don't know if you hear me, you probably can hear me and think I'm weird now, I'm just gonna stop talking" he says once he notice I was talking to the air which is were Apollo is.

"Tell him I say hi, but I'm gonna go now bye" she says before she quickly flew away.

"Apollo says hi" I say. He smiles.

I kick of my flip flops before walking over to the edge of the pool, sitting down and putting my feet in the warm water.

Alec is right by my feet still holding Charlie. (Charlotte's nickname is Charlie)

"Can I hold her?" I ask, he nods.

"Only for 5 minutes then she has to go back in the water" Alec says. I nod as he hands Charlotte to me.

I hold her in my right arm as I hold Bella in my left.

Ale lifts himself onto the edge of the pool so he's sitting beside me.

He reaches over and gently takes Isabella from me holding her in his arms.

"She's adorable" Alec smiles.

"She is but, she hates taking baths" I say.

Alec looks at me before he burst out laughing scaring Bella. She starts to cry.

"Oh I'm sorry baby girl, it's ok! Daddy's here it's ok. Don't cry your ok" Alec coos and it had to be the most adorable thing on the planet.

Isabella looks up at Alec before she slowly stops crying and falls back asleep.

Alec rocks her back and forth for another minute before Charlie starts to whine signalling she needs to go back in the water.

Alec hands me Bella before he hops back into the pool, he swims back up to the surface and I hand him Charlie.

He goes back under water with her and I watch as he rocks her in his arms just like he did with Bella.

I smile but frown wishing I could hold her longer.

Alec swims back up to the surface still holding Charlie but he keeps her under water.

He opens his mouth to talk but the doors burst open guards run in. I look at Alec scared.

The guards run over to me and grab Isabella.

"What are you doing? Give me my baby" I say scared and confused.

"Theirs an intruder and we were told to take the children and protect them" a guard says.

I nod still upset and confused.

Why can't I just hold my baby and they stand in front of me?

Suddenly I hear a familiar scream.

"Nyla" I yell.

I run past the guards and into the hallway.

She screams again and I follow it to a closed door. I listen for a moment.

"Acr don't" Nyla cries. I quickly open the door.

"Noooo" I scream as Ace.....(to be continued)

So how did you like this chapter? Sorry it's short and I'm sorry if it's boring :(

I'm going to be ending this book soon, theirs only about 10 chapters left (NOT including this one) till the end. I don't know if their will be a sequel yet?

So I change it a little so only one of Alec and Maize's babies were born with a tail sorry if you were confused.

So at the end we find out Ace's back, but what is he doing to Nyla?

Who is the intruder?
