Chapter Thirty Six

Maize's POV

I find room 432 and knock on the door. It opens within 5 seconds and as soon as it does I freeze.

"Bella thank god your ok" the guy says looking at Bella, the little girl I found crying in the parking lot.

"Thank you so muc-" he was saying but froze once he looked at me.

"Maize?" He asks.

I nod my eyes starting to water.

He steps forward to hug me but I back up, anger filling up inside of me.

Maize's POV

"Don't" I warn backing up more, I push Charlotte behind me out of his sight!

"Maize please" He begs taking a step towards me.

I shake my head and put my hands out, he stopped walking and sighed hanging his head.

I missed him so fucking much and wanted nothing more then to hug and kiss him but I had to stop myself.

He was gone for a whole dame year and didn't even try to call or text me!

"Babe please" he says.

"No! I don't want to hear it! And don't call me babe" I yell.

Charlie held onto my leg tightly, she is scared of people arguing.

"Why are you mad?" He asks.

"Why am I mad? I don't know maybe cause you didn't even try to contact me! You could've been dead!" I yell bursting into tears.

His face softens and he realises how I felt.

"I know I'm sorry" he says.

"That won't change anything Emil" I say.

The elevator dings and a guy dressed in a black outfit walks out looking right at us and starts to walk towards us smirking.

"Shit, Maize take Charlie and run! Go get out of here, I'll hold them off! Bella put up your shield! Le Run now get out of here, NOW" he yells.

I pick Charlie up quickly and run towards the emergency exit.

"Charlie it's ok don't cry" I say.

She nods scared tears streaming down her face.

Luckily tears won't make her grow a tail or we'd be screwed.

I start to run down the stairs carrying Charlotte.

I get to the bottom and run out into the garage.

I quickly put Charlie in the car before I quickly get in and start to drive away.

"Where are we going?" Charlie asks.

"Somewhere new" I say and continue to drive to the bus station.

I get their quickly and take Charlotte out of the car.

I open the trunk and get mine and Charlie's back packs.

I go through the groceries I bought and take anything that won't spoil and put it the bags.

I grab Charlie's blanket from the back seat and zip the bags up quickly, putting mine on right after.

I help Charlotte put hers on before I pick her back up and run inside.

I get in line and buy 2 one way tickets to New York City.

(I know you probably can't get on a bus from London to NYC but I don't care).

I find the bus and climb in going to back where again nobody is.

I sit Charlie in between me and the window so she's safe.

The bus starts to drive and I sigh.

I look down at Charlie and she looks scared and confused.

"Mummy who was that boy?" She asks.

I sigh, should I tell her it was her dad?

"That was your daddy" I say. Hers eyes widen.

"Why did you yells at him's?" She asks.

"Cause mummy was mad" I say.

"Why did you cry when you founds him?" She says.

"Cause I thought he was dead, I didn't see him for a long long time" I say she frowns.

"Did he leaves us?" She questions.

"No, we left each other. A bad man is trying to hurts you, Bella, mummy, and daddy" I say. Shoot I just said Bella.

"Why is they tryin to gets Bella?" She asks curiously.

"Cause Bella's your twin sister" I say.

"Really?" She asks excitedly.

"Yep" I smile.

"When cans we see them again?" Charlie asks excitedly.

"I don't no? But right now it's bed time so lay down, here's your blanket. Do you have to pee before you sleep?" I say.

"No I peed in Walmart remember!" She sasses. I chuckle and kiss her forehead.

"I love you, now go to sleep you need to rest" I say.

She nods and gives me a goodnight kiss before she lays down and I tuck her in with her special mint green blanket.

She closes her eyes and I sigh leaning back in my seat.

I close my eyes and start to drift off to sleep when my phone rings.

I quickly dig around for it and pull it out answering it.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Maize?" Someone asks.

"Who is this?" I ask.

"Your worst nightmare!" They answer.

"What do you want? Who are you?" I say.

"Just surrender well you still can!" They say.

"No, goodbye" I say before quickly hanging up.

They were probably tracking my phone too.

I open the window and toss it out before closing it again.

I lean my head against the back of my seat and run my hands through my hair

What am I going to do?

Hope you like it :) I wrote the end and edited it in my French class since I had study hall cause my teacher was at a sports event.

Anyways, sorry it's short.

I can't update for awhile because I have 3 overdo projects that I still haven't started but I will probably update over the long weekend.
