I found myself drowning in my thoughts again. It was Friday and I decided it was time to start over. Start fresh with a new emotion. Happy. I might have issues with my friendships and love interests and past, but I can put all that aside and put a new foot forward.

Friday. New day. Even though I said I would dedicate this day to work, I think I need to work on me. Ms. Weng was right. Calum and I were inseparable. We were so close. Closer than what we have been.

I grabbed my notebook and sat in the middle of my room. Random, yes. Useful, it will be in a sec.

I wrote. I wrote for hours on end. I wrote about what I'm going through now, work, hobbies, life, Ms. Weng, Mackenzie, Adelaide, Baam, what I want to do when I leave school.

I hope to go to university. Become a music teacher. Become something to do with music. I love music. It is me, I am it. Sounds corny I know, but it's the only thing that has been by my side this whole time.  That also sounds corny.

At school I sing in the choir. We aren't just the typical choir we are more of a modern music group. We sing in harmonies, yes. But we also have a rapper called Charley. That girl has so much happiness. She just lights up the room it is unreal.

I hope it be a singer/songwriter if I don't got to university. And I would love to travel. That's why I love talking to Calum, because he has been everywhere. But that hasn't been happening lately.

I was snapped out of my train of thought when I got a call from Lauren. Like Calum she has been there since the beginning. She can always listen to me. Which I love.

"Willow, how are you?"

And that's when I broke down. I just started to cry. I didn't know how sad and depressed I was until the most caring person in my life said 'How are you'. Lesson learned: Don't ignore your feelings. They are there for a reason.

Lauren hung up straight away and 10 minutes later she was here at my house. How she knew I was at home, I don't know. She just.....knows.

Lauren is 20 years old with a lot of spare time on her hands. She's a youtuber. And a very talented one at that. She's had me in a few videos, but nothing over the moon. I'd rather be unnoticed. I still can't get over how she has so many ideas. Never the same either.

It was 11:30am and Lauren needed to go. I felt a lot better. She is a lifetime friend I know it.

Lauren left my grounds and it was time I bathed. You truly know someone loves you when they can bare your stink.

I made my way to the bathroom, unaware that my phone rang.
