4th of July Special

Hehehe surprise...?

I know the 4th is already over but...a very kind said I should still post this! I should also mention that the Kyungsoo special is almost done, it should be up Monday (it would have been done tomorrow but I have to pack for a three week trip)!

This also takes place before the Kim pack found Chen and Xiumin

"How are we supposed to set off firecrackers in this weather?" Sehun asked, he peaked out the cave and flinched as a bolt of lightning flashed before his eyes.

"I still don't see what's so special about these firecrackers." Luhan eyed the pile of explosives in the corner.

"Well of course you don't." Chen said as he ran his fingers through a sleeping Xiumin's hair. "Baekhyun says that in the city they would set these off every year on this day and he even runs to the city each year to get some."

"They look so beautiful when they blow up!" Baekhyun said with a dreamy tone. Chanyeol cooed at his soon to be mate and gently kissed his cheek.

"Are they loud?" Kyungsoo asked.

"Well yeah but their beauty is something out of this world." Kai smiled.

"Then I guess I can deal with the noise." Kyungsoo blushed.

"You might not have too if this weather doesn't let up." Lay said, the large cave rattled whenever thunder would fill the air. Baekhyun frowned and crossed his arms, he stalked over to the front of the cave and watched the rain come pouring down.

"Are Tao and Kris still in the rain?" Chen asked. "I don't want Tao catching a cold or his foot getting worse."

"He and Kris are still playing." Baekhyun smiled as he watched Tao and Kris play together in the rain, it was clear to anyone that Kris was letting Tao tackle him and pin him to the ground for a few seconds before Kris would fight his way up again. With Tao's foot still injured it was still a mystery to Baekhyun on how Tao had managed to convince Chen and Lay that he was well enough to play anything let alone run and play fight in his wolf form.

"I'm really surprised that Kris is controlling himself so well around Tao." Chanyeol said softly, Sehun looked over confused and Chanyeol gestured him over

"What do you mean controlling himself?" Sehun asked in a whisper, he eyed Chen in the corner with Xiumin, still napping away.

"Well Kris doesn't exactly have the best temper in the world..." Chanyeol chuckled. "He has issues with a lot of people and can be aggressive at times."

"I hadn't noticed." Sehun frowned. "It's a good thing Chen didn't hear you earlier than!"

"He might have been against Kris mating Tao!" Chanyeol agreed.

"I swear, while I love Chen he can be such the downer at times." Sehun crossed his arms.

"I can hear you two idiots over there." Chen said with a glare.

"Shit." Sehun cursed.

"Language." Xiumin muttered in his sleep.

"WHAT IS THIS!" Suho screamed, he was holding a sparkler as far away as he could from himself.

"That's a sparkler!" Tao came running over with one of his own, Suho screamed as the sparkler came closer.

"Whoa that looks pretty!" Lay looked in wonder as Baekhyun ran in circles around Chanyeol waving his sparklers around to create all kinds of shapes.
