So Disney's Tarzan is pretty similar to the original book.
1. Tarzan tells Jane that he loves her and Jane tells him she likes him, however, she's engaged to Clayton
2. Tarzan turns out to be Clayton's cousin and he should inherit Clayton's belongings and Jane (because woman were considered things back then)
3. Tarzan keeps his mouth shut so he wouldn't ruin Jane's happiness even though Jane loved Tarzan.
