"Cause she's an uptown,
get-around, anything goes girl."-MAYAS POV-
I didn't think I'd ever do this, but as soon as I entered school, I immediately looked for Farkle. Having to disregard every greeting towards me was new.
As soon as I found him by our lockers, I raised an eyebrow.
"Why did you want my number?" I calmly spoke.
"Maybe I'll get right back to you after I kill Lucas." The small comment made me laugh.
"Riley told me. But it's a big deal, hm?"
"You think it's a big deal? It's not. I just didn't want it to be misinterpreted." He riposted.
"Keep telling yourself that."
"We're working on a project together. I mean you would've figured out why if you weren't so quick to jumping to conclusions?"
"Maybe because you're stubborn, maybe because you're scared, but you do know what I'm talking about here." I said with a teasing smile and walked away to class.
"You can't use my lines."

All my classes were hell, but by lunch I walked down with Riley.
"Guess what?!" She exclaimed.
Oh smiley Riley.
"What would that be?"
"I had a perfect idea. Lucas and Farkle are sitting with us today since we'd all be great friends!" She squealed.
"Are you out of your MIND?" "What is wrong with YOU?" I asked both questions empathically.
At our lunch table, I sat next to Riley. Farkle across me, and Lucas across Riley.
"Soo... you and Farkle are friends?" Lucas questioned.
"No."
"Maya!" Riley shouted.
"It's true, I barely know you!" I stated, looking at Farkle.
"Then know me. Hang at my house later on." He replied.
Riley and Lucas just smiled at each other.
"Farkle... we're just working on a project." The words plainly came out my mouth.
"Looking forward to seeing you."
-FARKLES POV-
I heard my doorbell ring, knowing it'd be Maya.
"Welcome... please don't over react." I smiled.
"Wow, it's only something you'd never imagine yourself to walk into."
I chuckled. My parents were rich.
Maya followed me up into my room and examined it.
She was steered to my window. Following, I put my head out beside her.
"You got an interesting view." Her gaze was entirely drawn outside.
"Yeah." I glanced at her.
The window was high up, and people were really small, but there were lights all over shining on them. You see all cities surrounding you, and if you look up slightly you can watch all the stars.
"You know, I wouldn't rather be doing this with anyone else but you." I spoke, with entire truth. No ordinary girl would make this enjoyable.
"Is that for movies?" She inquired, avoiding my words.
"You bet."
"Let's watch one." She suggested.
Walking to the sofa, she bent her legs to the side once on it. I sat about the cushion next to her, not knowing how close to sit.
We wound up talking more than watching.
It was the first time we got to know each other, and it was the best feeling. I may not know Maya deep down yet, but the more we communicated, the more I admired her personality.
After the movie was over, she yawned.
"Hey, I'm really tired, so I'mma head home." A smile curved on her face.
"Nice seeing you." I blankly waved, then she left.
Her presence stayed in my mind though and kept me questioning, all until I slept.
