"She likes to stay late at
at the party, cause the fun never ends."

                                FARKLE

I caught onto Maya's plan, so I had my own scheme. When the late bell rang, I walked away but not to class. I waited for Maya within a distance.

My eyes caught onto a blonde and I approached her. "Look, I have a thing with Smackle so don't expect me to be all up you."

"Then why were you? I wasn't begging you to, sweetie." She snapped.

Touché.

I put my hands up in defeat. "Maya, why were you avoiding me?"

"I didn't like the way things were going. I didn't want you to think we were going to be rushed into a couple. Gladly, I don't have to worry about that because the tables have turned! You got a girl wrapped around your finger!!" She said with sarcastic pride.

I was pissed.

"Hart, I could easily lose my shit right now, but we're stuck with each other. Let's just pretend to be friendly towards each other."

We sat next to each other in class. Silence.

Lockers. Silence.

Until, Zay walked up.

"Sup my dudes?" He exclaimed, fist punching me. "Maya, I'm having a party at my place. Tonight. 10. Oh and, you can take your little buddy if you want, too." He added on, nudging her.

"Great. We'll be there." She smirked.

"Maya, what the—"

"You don't even have to acknowledge me when I'm there for all I care. I just need someone because you know Riley."

"Please," She pouted.

I sighed. "But Smackle."

"Calm down Minkus, just don't do anything stupid. Enjoy yourself."

"Fine." I agreed. Somehow, her ridiculous effect works on me.

MAYA

It was 9:30, and it had only taken me two hours to get ready. My hair was curled and I wore a velvet dress that had lace on my chest and back area. To top it off, I was wearing natural smoky eyeshadow, wings, mascara, and a plum lipstick.

I heard a doorbell ring and knew it was Farkle. I carefully walked down the stairs with my wedges, and opened the door.

"Woah." Was all he muttered.

"Minkus, you have a girl." I teased.

"And I love her."

Damn.

Ignoring that, he linked his arm with mine and we headed to car.

We arrived at the party and it was wild, to my enjoyment. "Think you can handle it?" I smirked.

"Shut up and get a drink with me."

A drink later, you can tell Farkle was drunk. I chuckled.  He was light-weighted.

I hit the dance floor, and multiple make-outs later I felt a hand drag me into a bedroom.

"Kiss me already. I've wanted you to from the day we met."

I was tipsy, not drunk enough to roll with it, despite his hot voice and messed up hair. After he shoved me onto the bed, I straddled him to get him to stop.

"Farkle, you'd regret this. Thank me later when you have a hangover and realize you already have a girl you love." My teeth tugged into my lower lip.

"Please babe." He groaned, his lips trailing down my neck.

"No." I urged. "We're going home. It's past midnight anyways."

                                  FARKLE

I woke up the next day with a massive headache. I got up and realized my eyes were bloodshot and I knew I couldn't go to school.

"Hey loser, how's the hangover?" Maya showed up out of nowhere.

"W-what? How'd you get in here? How'd you know I'd be home?"

"I knew you were gonna have a hangover, but luckily you have me." I laughed. "Your parents let me in."

I scratched my head. "We didn't do anything, did we?"

"No. We would've if I didn't stop you."

I felt my cheeks heat up. "Thanks, I guess."

"It's cool. You got Smackle anyways." She raised an eyebrow.

"Does she deserve me if I was begging to hook up with you?"

Maya sat down on my bed. "Of course. You were drunk."

I wrap my arms around her waist and make her fall back aside me, throwing the blanket over her with my left hand but keeping the right one resting around her.

"What the fuck?"

"Sober or not, I would've wanted you." I stated.
