                   "Now all her clothes are
on the floor, and all her records
                            are scratched."

A/N: this is a hellaaa old pre-written chapter, hopefully y'all don't think it's that terrible but I  like it ! //

                                FARKLE

"I don't get it," Maya said as she tossed around my hands.

"What's that?" I removed my lips from her shoulder blade and smirked into her ear. The clock across my bed strikes 3:48 PM, noticing we've been like this for the past hour.

"Why do you think you can say you want me, and think we have something, when we don't. You have Smackle."

I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. There was a gorgeous blonde in front of me that wasn't mine.

"Because, it's complicated. But you know you're going to end up with me eventually."

She moved from my lap and got up to my desk. I watched the grimaced expression on her face as she sat on my chair.

"Who said I was waiting for you?" She scoffed.

"I said so."

"Stay with Smackle. It's disgusting you don't feel bad. This is the second time you've tried to hook up with me." The blonde rolled her eyes, throwing on her sweatshirt.

"Hey, calm down. I figured you were cold." A grin tugged on the ends of my mouth.

"You got yourself a deal Minkus, I give you one week to break up with Smackle, or you can keep her." She stormed out.

I bit my lip. One second I have Maya, and then a minute later I don't. She was right as much as I hate to admit it— which leads me to the question; Smackle or Maya?

I reached over my nightstand and grabbed my phone. I dialed in Lucas' number with hope he'd answer.

"What's up man?" I hear my best friends voice.

"Okay, so, I'm sort of cheating on Smackle with Maya and now she's saying I have one week to break up with my girl or else I'll lose her."

"You don't love Smackle," The words hit me.

"I do love her, Lucas. I just don't know who I love more" I protested.

"Nobody is roaming about how you two are a cute couple. Two geniuses, what's that? Like forces. You should know a thing or two from your project. Smackles. Just. A. Rebound."

I jerked my finger against the red button.
Smackle should be home by now. I got up and left the house. My destination was her place.

I knocked on the door, seconds later a bright face swinging it open.

"Hey babe!" She chirped.

I draped an arm around her. "Let's go to Topanga's, my treat."

"It appears this a date?" She questioned, resting her head on my shoulder.

"That's why you're a genius." I chuckled, pulling her closer to me.

I swung the door open for my girlfriend then grabbed her hand as we approached the line. I took some time to glance around, taking in the café smell and observing students hanging out everywhere. Some platonically, some affectionately. No matter the circumstances, smiles were plastered on people's faces everywhere. I couldn't feel mine.

"Farkle," a slap cut me off.

"Oh, sorry! I'll take a coffee; with skim milk please." I ordered.

We got the drinks and sat down. Our conversations usually range from mathematics, our future, problems, and more. This time, we found ourselves discussing nothing. It was an uncomfortable silence.

What felt like an hour later, Smackle cleared her throat. "Why were you absent today?"

"I was sick and in bed all day." To my defense, it was the truth with missing parts.

"How so sudden?" She further lured.

"I was kinda feeling it recently, but I didn't want to miss school, and you of course. Today it was just bad."

"My poor Farkle." She pouted and drew me into a hug.

I closed my eyes and sunk into her arms. I didn't want to lose Smackle at all. Or Maya.

MAYA

"Peaches! You weren't at school! Neither was Farkle!" Riley frantically shouted.

"Yeah, yeah, he was probably sick like me," I rolled my eyes.

"Maya, sisters tell each other everything."

"Fine. I checked on him from the party last night and he's decent. But I did give him a week to decide whether he wants Smackle or me," I shrugged.

Life was so different ever since Farkle had approached it. Some guy who's not even important seems to be the only thing Riley and I discuss nowadays.

"You can't give him just a week, that's nothing! Do you wonder how much pressure he's under right now?" She worried.

"Uh-huh, it's probably from Smackle over him in bed at this moment."

Unfortunately she wasn't so naive anymore, and pushed me off the bay window.

"Hey! I was only telling the truth!" I glared at my brunette friend.

"Don't worry, I believe you two will end up together and nothing will change that," Riley tilted her head and smiled at me.

"Orrr I could just go for your extremely hot uncle who's currently in this house and avoid all the useless chaos..." I tapped on my chin.

With those words, I went to the Matthews living room and sat on the couch next to him.

"Hey Boing, wanna go to Topanga's?"

"Anything involving you," He smirked.

To my shock, I saw Smackle and Farkle there. Her arms were wrapped around his and my heart sunk.

"Wow, you made your decision a little early?" I muttered into his ear.

"Smackle, Josh, if you'll excuse me, I need to borrow Maya for one second."
