After Myles left, we stayed silent. The silence is too over whelming, like a thick blanket just waiting to suffocate you. I decide to break the silence. "Jessy why are you doing this?" I ask straightforward. She looked at me with a pained expression. "Briar don't." She says. "NO YOU DON'T. YOU KNEW I LIKED MYLES, YOU KNEW WE WERE DATING BUT YOU JUST HAD TO GET IN THE WAY!! NOTHING USE TO COME BETWEEN US BUT NOW YOU'RE ACTING LIKE A JEALOUS BRAT. YOU AREN'T THE SAME GIRL I USE TO CALL MY BEST FRIEND!!!" I yell at her. She was frustrating me so much I just exploded. I kind of feel guilty but I am still mad at her. She shakes her head and forces a little laugh. "You don't get it do you?" This cause me to get even more angry. "No actually I don't but I sure will appreciate you telling me." "Seriously Briar just leave it." Why would she tell me I'm not getting it and then refuse to explain it to me? Why Jessy? Why? "No I have the right to know!" I can see through Jessy. She's like a ticking time bomb. She's going to burst in 3....2....1. "YOU KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BRIAR. "How is it my fault that I'm a good dancer and Allain trusts me? Plus he ask you for help millions of times." She rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "YEAH HE DOES. HE ASKS ME TO MAKE SURE YOU AREN'T EVER SICK OR LATE BECAUSE WHAT'S CDC WITHOUT THEIR STAR DANCER? YOU ALWAYS GET THE DANCING OPPORTUNITIES BECAUSE THEY IMMEDIATELY PICK YOU WITHOUT EVEN LETTING OTHERS AUDITION! SCHOOLS EXACTLY THE SAME! YOU'RE ALWAYS THE TEACHERS PET, THE POPULAR GIRL THAT GETS ALL THE BOYS. SO MAYBE JUST MAYBE I WANTED A CHANCE WITH MYLES! I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED HIM BUT NO YOU JUST HAD TO COME SWOOPING IN AND STEAL HIM FROM ME!!!" She screams in my face with red and bloodshot eyes. I had no idea she felt this way. "J-Jessy I'm so sorry, I had no idea. Why didn't you tell me?" "Because you wouldn't believe me. You would deny it and call me a bad friend, exhibit A was five minutes ago when you called me a bad friend." I feel the sensation of tears but I know I'm not crying. They are threatening the spill at any minute and Jessy's the same. "Yeah but that's only because you didn't tell me you liked him. If you did I would have given you a shot." Once again she shook her head. "No actually you wouldn't have, it would've ended exactly like this again." I can't help but chuckle. I hate to admit it but she's right. "I'm really sorry Jessy, for everything, I honestly had no clue I was doing this to you." I wipe away the tears that have started to roll down my face. "No it's not your fault I never told you." I manage a small smile at her. "Do you forgive me?" I ask hopefully. "Only if you forgive me. I acted like a jerk and I'm truly sorry." I pull Jessy into a bone crushing hug. Now we are both leaking waterfalls. "I promise I won't come between you and Myles. To be honest your relationship is super cute." I laugh and it feels like old times. "I should apologise to, when we go home I will dial it back a bit and give you some spotlight." I wasn't sure what I was suspecting but a frown wasn't it. "Why are you upset?" "Oh it's just that we have to go home in a couple of days and I don't really want to." A sudden realisation was drawn on me. "Wait that means I'm going to leave Myles." She nodded and gave me a sympathetic look. "Yeah I know, but don't think about the negative. We just made up so let's make it count." I give Jessy a squeeze. "I'm so happy to have you back." "Right back at you B."
