Confronting Jessy

Briar's POV

I can't believe it Jessy isn't happy for me. Something is defiantly up with her, so I decide to confront her. I walk into the living room because I know she would be there instead of in her room. I stand in front of her blocking her view to the television. "Hey Briar can you please move I am trying to watch Pretty Little Liars." I don't even move a millimetre I am mad. "No I am not leaving until you tell me why you aren't happy for me." She looks at the ground once again. "I told you I am not feeling well." This again really Jessy "No Jessy tell me the real reason." "That is the real reason." "JESSY NO IT IS NOT AND YOU KNOW IT, JUST TELL ME WHY YOU AREN'T HAPPY FOR ME!!" I shout starting to get angry at her denial.  "Briar don't be so loud, the neighbours will complain." She hisses at me. That's it I cannot take it any more I just snap. "OH I DON'T CARE IF THE NEIGHBOURS HEAR ME, HECK I DON'T EVEN CARE IF THE FRICKEN UNIVERSITY OF ANTARCTICA CAN HEAR ME!!!"I shout at the top of my lungs. I am surprised my parents haven't come in yet to see what all the fuss is about "There isn't even a university in Antarctica." I hear her mumble under her breath. "WE USE TO TELL EACH OTHER EVERYTHING AND NOW YOU ARE KEEPING SECRETS FROM ME!!" I shout feeling a mix between sad and angry. Wait why does Jessy look actually ashamed for some reason. "Jessy I am sorry just please tell me why you aren't happy I am Myles' girlfriend, I won't judge you I promise." Getting softer since I feel a little bad for shouting at her. She looks me dead in the eye before whispering quietly. "I like him." I freeze, I mustn't have heard her right, did she say she likes Myles? "W-what." "I like him Briar." Her voice still barely a whisper. "But I am dating him." I say still frozen on the spot. I tried to move but I couldn't. "I know that's why I am trying to shut down my feelings for him because you like him but when he asked you out I just got really sad." "Oh OK, thanks." "I am truly sorry Briar can you forgive me?" I look at her finally being able to move. "Of course I will forgive you, you can't help liking someone but can you promise me one thing." "Sure what is it?" "That you won't try to sabotage our relationship." "Of course I would never do that." We ended the conversation with a hug. I am so glad we saved our friendship and that she won't try to break us up or steal him from me. We went off to join our family for pizza. After finishing the delicious ham and pineapple pizza I went off to have a shower. After my refreshing shower I put on my pyjamas and dry my hair. I grab my phone before lying in bed. I decided to change Myles' contact to boyfriend and change my wallpaper to a picture of us. Abbey gave it to me before dinner. She had taken a picture of us kissing when Myles dropped me home. I just sit there admiring the photo and once again silently thank Abbey for being such a nosy little sister. Of course I texted Myles before bed saying goodnight and all the other usual stuff. I finally have a boyfriend but my best friend has to like him. I hope she keeps her promise and gets rid of her feelings for him. I didn't want to sound rude but Myles was my boyfriend and technically I liked him first so she better not break us up. I plug in the charger for my phone and drift off to sleep.

A/U This chapter is crap and short and I am sorry but I have people over and my mum says I have to go and 'socialise' with them which is kind of stupid since I see them practically every day. Anyway I will update tomorrow hopefully and I hope you have a great day!!!
