Myles' POV
Today is the day Briar is leaving and I'm not moving until another month. I know it's not that long but I'll still miss her. She's the best thing that has ever happened to me. Abbey texted me and said that Briar got into trouble so she wasn't allowed to say goodbye to me but I know she will. I also know that Briar snuck out the other day to go to the festival. I knew she shouldn't have but in a way I'm glad she did. We had so much fun and it wouldn't be much fun without her. I sat on my bed until 11. There wasn't much to do right now I would be going out for lunch or going to the beach. I grab my phone and scroll through Instagram. My buddies put allot of pictures of us at the festival. There are mostly selfies and videos of us dancing but one photo in particular made me stop and grin. Nick had put up a photo of Briar and I kissing. Jessy, Tanner and Jen were all in the background pulling faces. The caption was titled 'when bryles is too busy making out to realise we're taking photos!😆😆😂😉' the comments were filled up with laughing emojis and 'typical bryles' which I found very offensive. A stone being thrown at my window breaks me from my thoughts. There Briar is sitting and pouting at me to open the window. I chuckle and rush over to open it. As soon as I do Briar jumps in and hugs me. "I couldn't leave and not say goodbye to you." She whispers, tight in my embrace. "It's ok I'll see you in a month." I reply to my sad girlfriend. "I know it's just leaving is hard. I've had such a good time here and I met you here." She frowns and pulls me into another hug. "I have to go my parents will be checking on me soon." She says and goes to peck me. She's about to pull away but I pull her closer to me and continue to kiss longer. I can feel her smile against my lips. "Bye Mylo see you soon." I smile as she climbs out my window and into the distance. She's leaving and even though I'll see her again I can't help but feel sad. But Briar's right leaving is hard.
