Life had never been normal for fourteen year old, Thomas Harry Potter. He had chose to ignore it when he was younger even though it was obvious his parents never treated him fairly. It got especially worse when his little brother was born. However, Thomas was ecstatic to be a big brother. He wanted to look after the tiny baby his parents had named Godric as soon as he laid eyes on him. He had truly loved his brother. Loved. See, Godric was a very spoiled boy and thrived from the attention their parents gave him. Then after the night Voldemort stormed their house over a prophecy told by Dumbledore, everything changed. Up until that night, Thomas would have given his life for his younger brother. In fact, he technically did. The eldest Potter child had jumped in front of the killing curse to protect Godric, and it rebounded  towards the dark wizard. They all had assumed it was Godric who had banished the feared dark lord, and Thomas knew it was no use trying to tell them otherwise.

The guilt of almost letting Voldemort get to his younger brother had vanished when Godric started acting like Lily and James, their parents. He never hit the boy like the two adults out of fear, but he was cruel with his words. However, he didn't take it to heart. When he heard his brother speak all he could hear was his parent's voices. But that didn't mean he didn't hate Godric. The boy was like cattle and his parents were the farmers, and to hurt the farmers you have to take away what makes them money. Quite literally, as Godric brings in the Potters millions of dollars by being the supposed boy-who-lived. A cash cow you could say.

Though, it was because of that did Thomas decide he has to take matters into his own hands. No longer would he allow people to label him as a useless squib. He was tired of feeling powerless, so he rid himself of any emotional connections and focused on making himself stronger. By the time he had started his first year at Hogwarts he was up to fourth year material. He was called a prodigy and, to his amusement, it enraged his parents to no end.

Now,-to the dissatisfaction of Thomas- his brother would be joining Hogwarts as a first year. Not only that but James and Lily are taking up teaching positions so they can be close to Godric. While the boy might completely despise his family he can feel the foreign feeling of excitement buzzing under his skin. Oh, what an interesting year it is going to be.

"Harry! Get down here right now!"  He heard Lily yell and a scowl formed on his face before it went blank again. He hated being called that name and he always had, but he could never understand why. The only thing he ever argued back with his family about was that his name isn't Harry. He never answered when he was called anything but Thomas no matter how angry it made his parents. He ignored her calls and continued to pack his trunk for school. It wasn't like they were going to let him accompany them to the platform, and if they did it was only for publicity. Though he doubted he was very well known among reporters or anyone that didn't attend Hogwarts.

When he was nearly done he heard his door being slammed open and stood there was his ten year old brother, Godric. He was certainly an eyesore. Being spoiled all these years left the boy with a little more fat than you'd think the "savior of the Wizarding World" would have. If he kept it up he'd be well on his way to looking like their cousin Dudley and Uncle Vernon.

"Dad said either come down stairs or he will come and get you himself." Thomas turned around at those words and saw the smirk the boy had on his face. Godric liked seeing Thomas hurt and neglected because he had their parents all to himself. Which Thomas didn't care about being the son his parents didn't want because they were weak and easily manipulated people and he didn't want to be associated with the Potters.

"Well do tell them that I will be down whenever I am finished, little brother. Now, go play mediator and leave me to pack my things."  However, the boy did not leave but instead stood in the door way with a glare fixed on Thomas. At this point said boy was getting increasingly irritated. He hated people being in his personal spaces and his room was especially a place he didn't like uninvited people barging in and refusing to leave. So he once again turned to face Godric and let out a string of unintelligible hisses,

"Or am I going to have to make you?"
The snake language was enough to get the boy running out his room fast enough to slightly trip while turning around. Thomas just shook his head at the supposed boy-who-lived. How was he supposed to defeat Voldemort when he returned if he's nearly pissing himself at hearing a sentence that in Parseltongue.
After he finished packing he shrunk his trunk and made his way down stairs where he was confronted by Lily and James along with Remus and Sirius.

"...Harry, Godric has to-" However the boy just walked right past the man. He was tired of people not respecting him enough to call him by his preferred name, which happened to be his legal first name. It made no sense to him at all. Though he was yanked back by James, but the man quickly removed his hand when it felt like he had been electrocuted. Nobody said anything and just watched as Thomas tucked a strand of his long hair behind his ear and walked out the door. They would come to learn he was not someone they could push around anymore.

As he made it to the platform his eyes scanned the crowed till it landed on a group of blondes, the Malfoy family. Then his eyes instantly locked onto the eldest heir, Abraxas. He made his way over where he was instantly greeted by Draco, Abraxas's younger brother. The boy was asking question after question until his was scolded by his mother for acting so undignified.

"It is quite alright, Lady Malfoy. It is my own fault for declining your usual invitation to the manor. And I apologize for not visiting Draco to help you with training, I was very busy." A rare, small smile appeared on his face before disappearing. How he wished his own brother was like Draco. They were both spoiled but unlike Godric, Draco was taught to have manners.

The three boys wished Lucius and Narcissa goodbye before boarding the train. With Draco going to find his friend group and Abraxas and Thomas going to find their usual empty compartment. As they got situated, Thomas placed wandless charms on the area so no one would be able to enter or listen in.

"So, you told mother you were busy this Summer." Abraxas said breaking the silence between the two. The other boy nodded his head before saying,

"Yes. I've begun to put my plans into action. With that being said, I need to know where you stand. You are the only person that means something to me. Though, I do not want my plans going in and unforeseen directions. Can I put my complete trust in you Abraxas?"

They stared at eachother, green meeting grey, as if they were looking to each others souls. With a serious face the blonde boy nodded his head in affirmation.

"I will always stand by your side Thomas. It is because of you I've grown to where I am today. It would be a disgrace to my grandfather's name to turn my back on you."

Thomas sat back in his seat never taking his eyes off Abraxas,

"Then let's bring an end to the light."
