Thomas hadn't felt this angry since the night he lost control and murdered Dumbledore and all of his minions. He tried to push down the negative feelings as he left Abraxas's bedroom before he did something he would regret later. It had taken every ounce of self control to not snap his former bestfriend's neck. It was only the man's ties to Lucius and Draco that saved his life. Though, the fact that Abraxas was still alive made a part of him irrational from anger.

He thought he could learn to forgive Abraxas. After all, he was the first person Thomas had ever cared for. It made him wonder if the eldest Malloy heir only wanted to use him as some sort of power play. A growl escaped clenched teeth as he thought of the possibility. He wouldn't put it past a pure blood like the Malfoy. He knew his beloved was like that as well, but he could see it in the boy's eyes that he only had genuine intentions for him.

If only for a second all the negative emotions were gone as he thought of Draco, but he could physically feel his restraint chipping away. He felt like he was cursed to never be completely happy. If he wasn't immune to compulsions then he would have turned his back on his mate the same way that Abraxas had did to him. He would never be able to live with himself if he had hurt Draco. Though, maybe the youngest Malfoy deserves better than him. Atleast, that's what he thought. He hated that he still couldn't allow himself to be touched affectionately without flinching away. He couldn't even give his mate what he wanted. It made matters worse considering that Thomas is years older than Draco. He should know how to cater to his dominant's needs. Sometimes he thinks he should have just stayed hidden away with Severus.

"...omas! Thomas! It's me, Draco. Just breathe with me. I'm here." He instantly recognizes his mate's voice and tried to focus on what he is saying. It took him a minute to realize it wasn't just Draco. His father, Severus, and Lucius were also gathered around him. However, this just caused him to feel even more overwhelmed as he caught their looks of worry and concern. He could feel his magic building up ready to lash out, and he didn't want to hurt his family. Everyone watched as he quickly reached up to grab the collar around his neck before disappearing in an instant.

"Where did he go! Where is he?!" Draco couldn't keep the panic from his voice as he whirled around to meet Severus's gaze. He must have known something considering how calm he was compared to everyone else. When everyone felt Thomas's magic spike, Severus was the first to jump at run to find the man and everyone else followed. Snape ran a hand through his long hair before sighing,

"He'll be back. I don't know what got him worked up, but he's just going to let out some steam. That collar is a portkey."

The youngest Malfoy calmed a bit, but it was obvious he was still worried. He didn't know what had his mate so distressed, but he will find out. He was tired of seeing his mate so afraid. No, Thomas never outright said he was but Draco could tell. The man let his guard down when they were alone and the blond man could tell how worn out Thomas really was. He wanted to take all that pain away, and he was going to start with whatever it was that had upset his mate.
