Six years had gon by since the defeat of Albus Dumbledore and Lord Tom Riddle had took over as the leading figure of the Wizarding World. Though, behind closed doors Tom was saddened that it had also been six years since the night his son disappeared with Severus. He knew the man would watch over his son but part of him wished Thomas never left in the first place. He had only just met the boy, and now the next time he sees his son he will no longer be a boy, but a man. He will be twenty years old this year, and Tom couldn't help but feel bitter about the fact he never got to raise his son. Never got to watch his child grow up.
Tom took all his frustrations from his personal life and used it as a driving force to better the life of those in the magical world. He set out to make sure that nothing that had happened to him and his family, didn't happen to anyone else. And that is what shocked most. They expected him to be a tyrant that ruled by fear and violence as that is what was put into their minds by Dumbledore and everyone else in power. Tom passed laws for magical creatures to have the same rights as everyone else. He made sure that muggle born children and half-bloods got the proper education they needed to be substantial wizards. Under his rule, the magical world began to flourish.
Though still with everyday that past he, alongside the Malfoys, missed Thomas. Abraxas, especially, because of the guilt that weighed in his chest. He had learned that Cedric had only been using him to get information about the Dark Lord, and after the takeover, he saw no reason to continue the facade. Just as Thomas had said, it wouldn't last and it didn't. He had been foolish to even consider another person over the boy who had loved him unconditionally. He knew to not expect Thomas to have any feelings for him whenever he returns, but he couldn't say he wasn't hoping.

"For Merlin's sake Thomas! You can't wear that to see your father, he will murder me on sight!"
Severus tried to get the man to realize that his outfit was more or less, scandalous. While he tolerated his sense of style away from his charge's father, he didn't want to get killed when he seen Thomas wearing such obscene clothing.
"Well, that seems like a personal problem Severus. However, I am twenty years old and will dress how I wish. Father will have to deal with it."
Severus wished that just once Thomas wouldn't be so stubborn. But it definitely is an improvement compared to how he was when he was younger. He is no longer driven by hate and revenge. He's found peace in life and the potions master is honestly glad to see he has found a small bit of happiness in his life. He just hopes Tom sees it that way.
Both of the men made sure they had all of their stuff before shrinking down their baggage and pocketing it. Then they grabbed hold of one another and vanished in what seemed like black smoke before reappearing in front of the gates of Riddle Manor. There were wards protecting the area so they couldn't just enter and had to wait under Tom was alerted of their arrival.
It didn't take long before the wards were lifted and they were allowed to enter. Not even minutes after they stepped through the gates was he pounced on by a blonde male. Thomas took in the boy's scent and his creatures purred. Draco. He was one of the few reasons Thomas decided to return. He was hesitant because of what happened with Abraxas, but he also knew that Draco would be coming into his inheritance today. It's his sixteenth birthday. Maybe things would go different this time. He held on to the small bit of hope that things would go okay. He didn't know how Draco would react to having an older mate, and one that was submissive at that.
When the boy let go and looked at Thomas his eyes grew wide and his mouth hung open a bit. The man inwardly smirked and felt content that his potential mate had noticed his outfit. And oh, did he notice. But it wasn't the tight fitting leather pants that made his curves more prominent, or the shirt, if you could even call it that, which let nothing to the imagination allowing his tan skin to show through. What caught his attention was the green and silver collar strapped to his neck with the initials 'HH' engraved into it. He didn't know what it was about it that made him feel such unexplainable feelings.
