It didn't take long for the Order and dozens and dozen of Aurors to find where Thomas was. Everyone had rushed outside when they started feeling the boy's raw magic begin to seep from his core. No one had ever felt so much power before, and they knew it was dangerous, but the ones who cared for him knew it would be even more so to leave him alone. No one knew exactly what Thomas was capable of doing. As the wards began to drop Thomas let out a predatory growl. His father knew the had to get to his son before he did something drastic. At this point, there was no telling what his son was going to do.
"Please keep them away from me. I can't... I don't want to hurt them."
His voice was deep and sounded distorted. It was clear that he was losing control to his creatures, and Tom grabbed the two Malfoy heirs and apparated back into the Riddle Manor. He then set up specific wards around the house to stop people from coming in and the two boys from being able to get out. He then went back to the scene and found Dumbledore trying to talk to his son.
"My boy, if you just give yourself up it will lessen the charges against you."
The old man was rewarded with Thomas's eyes turning completely black and an angry growl. He had no intention on backing down and he let that be known. Too long has his life been controlled by the light for their own gain. Even if it killed him, Thomas was going to get revenge for both him and his father. They would regret ever taking him from his family and killing his mother and unborn sibling.
"Today will be the day the Light falls. You've dug your grave long ago, and now it's time you lay in it."
An enraged James Potter stormed past the rest of the Aurors, wand raised to the black haired boy. He wanted to be the one to murder the boy in vengeance of his beloved wife and son, but before he could even think of a spell to cast, he was forced to the ground. Thomas's magic was so strong , it felt as if it was suffocating him. He couldn't keep on his feet anymore and his feet collapsed under him.
"No need to be Angry, James. An eye for an eye. My mother and Brother were killed so I took your wife and son. It's only fair."
Everyone got in a defense stance when they seen Thomas take out his wand. However, nobody was prepared for what he was about to do. They were expecting him to cast a spell, but instead he took the wand and stabbed James through his chest with it. Thomas released the man from his magic and he looked down and shakily placed his hands where the want protruded his chest before coughing up blood.
"The satisfaction of killing you without magic is far more than it would've been with it."
Everyone watched masked horror as James fell back, dead. This boy was ruthless, and obviously didn't care about having blood on his hands. It was obvious that his sanity was wavering if he could murder someone in such a way without even a bit of remorse evident.
With a signal from Dumbledore, the Aurors advanced on the teen with the intent to capture or kill. With that, Lucius, Tom, and Severus took action in defending the boy. However, they soon found it wasn't needed. Thomas's magic spread out once more and the feel of it caused even Tom to shiver a bit. It was so thick and suffocating. Then, the boy formed two knives made completely of his magic. With speed no one had ever seen before he began to cut down Aurors and Order members alike down one by one. Though those were the lucky ones. Some dropped down and clawed at their throats as if someone was choking them and it clicked that it was Thomas's magic that was literally suffocating them. They struggled until the breath left their body.
In minutes there were only a few Light wizards that Thomas had left alive. When he became visable again the ones who were still alive were met with the sight of Thomas drenched in his enemies blood. The first thing he did was lock eyes with Dumbledore who looked a mix between angry and frightened. He'd be foolish to not fear the boy in front of him.
"Your reign is over, Dumbledore. Your decisions have caused the demise of the light. But don't worry, you won't have to see the results of your multiple mistakes much longer."
Thomas has seemingly gained back his control, but by his words he still planned on murdering the old wizard. Out of anger, Albus began casting multiple unforgivables toward Thomas, but they were all deflected by Severus, Lucius, and Tom.
Dumbledore had no time to react as three wands were pointed at him and Thomas's magic reduced him to his knees. The three men shouted the killing curse and within seconds He was no more.
"What are you going to do now?"
Thomas turned around to look at his father. He felt sadness swell inside him. He had only just found his father and he knew he was going to have to leave.
"I can't stay. Albus might be dead but it will take more than that to fully wash out the light. I ,however, will have no part in that. I've done what I've set out to do. Eventually I will be back , I promise."
Tom might not have wanted his son to leave, he knew it was best. Though, he wasn't going to let Thomas go alone. What kind of father would he be?
"Severus, I ask of you to go with my son. You've looked after him all these years at school, and I know he would do well to have you with him."
Ever since Severus had came to him in his Hogwarts days, Tom had always had a soft spot for the potion master. Before he had lost his sanity, he would jokingly call Severus the Dark Prince as did his other followers. If he trusted anyone with his son, it was Severus. Said man nodded his head, agreeing to watch over Thomas until he decided to return.
Thomas grabbed an item from inside his pocket. It was a portkey. He wrapped his arms around Severus's. Before he activated the device the boy smirked.
"I think Hogwarts would do well under new management."
And with that he and Severus was gone. Tom kept his eyes on where his son disappeared from and mirrored the boy's smirk. There would be a lot of things under new management.
