why bother, now? you left with a lie and must've wanted me dead, im still here wondering what I did. left me hanging by a fucking string, on the edge of everything. we've fought through so much together, but this is the one thing you choose to let go of; us. i don't have much to say, but if my letter kept being sent back, I'll find you myself.

The words slotched, the ink practically exploding into Frank's sweaty palm. The paper smudged with his fingerprints, and before he crumbled it up out of despair shoved it into the marked enveloped. Gee had always insisted on making thank you letters for gifts, and once had stayed up past 2am to write heartfelt words to her relatives and friend during Christmas. The girl was all too sweet, and had drawn little hearts on the front of their envelopes for fun.

It made Frank sick to his stomach.
