Chapter 13

Raven woke up surpisingly early for a Sunday. She sleepily brushed her hair and walked downstairs for breakfast. The cave was strangely silent and she remembered her dad was probably still with the Head and knowing Waru, she would still be sleeping. She tried to telepathically call her anyway and to her surprise she answered back.

"*yawn* Hi Raven, Dad woke me early so i could come and train with u or something, i cant remember what he said. Your Dad is still here, they were up all night talking, I dont need sleep, but its better than listening to boring paperwork talk."

Raven giggled and answered back. 'Ok, I'll meet you at the forbidden forest. See u in 15 minutes?'

Waru agreed and went off to get ready. Hero was also getting ready to train. Notch expected him to go to some playpark and hit the swings but Hero had other ideas. He remembered the armour stands at the Forbidden Forest and decided to sneak out there.

'Don't go too far out!' Notch called as Hero headed for the door. 'I won't' He replied and started running toward the forest.

Waru arrived just as Raven was getting ready to go out. 'You're waaay to quick for me' Waru said as she struggled to rush out of the door while putting on a coat. Raven just laughed at her and followed her out the cave.

The path to the forest had been neglected and pair were barely able to get through the overgrown bushes but Waru being Waru, pushed to the front and swung her sword about chopping up the green wall.

'Watch out Waru, you nearly took my head off!' Raven said as she dodged another swing. Waru giggled at her. 'Sorry, its been ages since i got to actually have a hack at something'

'save it for the armour stands and not my hair!' Raven giggled and they eventually made it to the clearing. 'Huh, someone's already been having a good practise on these' she said looking at the slits in the wood and clay. Waru found an old broken iron sword next to a destroyed armour stand. 'Pfft what kind of noob practises with IRON?' she said swinging her brand new diamond blade around in her hand. Raven shrugged just as she heard footsteps coming along the path. 'Waru, quick, get behind that tree!' She and Waru both ducked behind one of the big oaks and spied on the person coming down the entrance.

Raven's eyes gleamed their brilliant white when the walker revealed themselves-Hero. Waru gave a delighted squeal when she saw an oppertunity to fight. Raven nudged her and gave a face that basically said: Shut up if you want that head to stay on your shoulders. Hero sensed danger and looked around him. Unfortunetely, leaves have a tedency to keep swaying, even when there is no wind and Hero picked up on this fact. He started slowly walking up to the tree that the two girls were hiding, but before he could reach them Waru took action and pushed him up against a tree.

'What the hell!' Hero screamed and Waru just started growling at him. 'I'd advise you not to use that language when faced with an underworld demon.' and she threw him to the ground. Hero managed to stand up, a little unsteady, and draw his iron sword. Waru laughed at him. 'Really? I'd expect more from a son of Notch' and she drew her own enchanted diamond blade. Raven decided it was about time she stepped in to help Waru, besides, she hadnt fought in months and was getting quite bored of a civilian lifestyle. Her own blade shone in the sunlight and the OP enchants glowed a brilliant, vibrant purple which went very well with the blue. Waru and Hero were already having a sword fight and Hero's dodges were pretty impressive. Waru was smiling as she lunged with attacks 'pretty impressive for a mortal' she said with a grin. Raven was smiling behind her. She could hear Waru sending her telepathic plans and her eyes were glowing a strong white. She waited for the signal then, when Hero started to look tired she flew up, to get a good view, and plunged down at him, sending him sprawling across the floor. Waru starting grinning madly and Raven grinned as he was clearly unconcious. 'He's still alive i think' Waru said as she slowly walked up to him. 'Let's not kill him, that'll leave no fun for later. I think that's enough training for today.' Raven replied smiling. The two girls walked home, leaving Hero unconcious on the forest floor.

It was around 10pm. Hero slowly woke up, coughing and shivering from cold. He had no direct wounds, just a few bruises around his head and arms. He slowly stood up and started walking home. He hadn't realised how dark it could get and kept falling into trees and small animals like chickens and pigs. After what seemed like hours he finally made it to the village and stumbled to the right house. Notch was frantic and was making lots of phone calls. You could hear the relief in his voice when he heard the door close. 'Oh my Goodness Hero, where the heck have you been?' Hero shrugged. 'I was training and fell down the ditch on the way home. Im fine honestly, im not hurt, im going to bed.' He walked upstairs ignoring any further questions and went to bed to join the rest of the village.

OH MA GOSH IM NOT DEAD YAY. Sorry this took so long to come out but i was struggling for idas ;A; thanks to my amazing friend (who will get a mention at the end of this book) for helping with story line.
