Chapter 16

*back at classroom*

Waru was staring glassy eyyd at him. Aiden was looking back, obvious fear in his eyes.

"I-It's you, isnt it? The kid me and my mum found years ago"

Raven was looking worriedly at the window and door.

"uh, cute reunion guys, but we have a small problem"

All 3 of them suddenly heard sirens and alarms from all corners. A kid ran over to the window and Raven had to use all her strength not to push him out of it.

"Guys, why is the teacher down there surrounded by police?" He shouted.

Waru and Raven looked at each other, grabbed Aiden and without giving it a second thought, Raven teleported the 3 out of the school and into the plains far away. Aiden appeared last, looking like he had been splashed with green paint. Raven quickly erased his memory and made him think they had gotten lost on a school outing.

"ugh... Why do i feel so sick..."

Raven rolled her eyes and threw him a strength potion.

"Here take this and stop complaining." She looked over at Waru who was sniffing the air and looking worried. Raven started looking around herself and drew her blade. With 5 days until the war, she was hoping it was just a soldier training, but this scent was stronger, powerful.

"here, Aiden" Raven threw him an iron sword. Aiden looked clueless but put it on guard anyway. Waru shook her head at him, as he was holding it in all the wrong positions but she bit her tounge.

"Be careful walking about gu-"

But as Waru spoke, she was cut off by the ground rumbling underneath their feet.

"What the heck!" Aiden shouted, but as soon as the noise revealed it's cause, he ran and stodd behind Raven, looking 6 years old again. Raven shook her head but kept her arms spread over him.

Fairies. Hundereds of them. Bad news for demons. Without a second of thought, Waru was right into swinging, hitting and kicking, taking down the first wave easy. Raven did her bit too and took down 3 fairies at a time. Althought Aiden was trying, he was hit down with one swipe and Raven threw a protection beam around him, chucking any fairies around him 3 chunks away. After they were all down, Raven and Waru gave a high five and healed Aiden as much as they could.

"Nice try buddy, but not quite strong enough for those guys i dont think" Waru said, patting him on the back a little too hard.

"w-why were you killing them?" he asked, "I thought they were the good guys"

Waru's eyes glittered. "I-WE'LL explain later" she said, looking at Raven for support, but
her eyes were staring into the forest infront of them.

"Wait, here guys, i think i saw something" Raven said, starting to run off. Waru tried to follow but was focused on healing Aiden first, just yelling at her to be careful. Raven's heart was racing and she told herself she was insane for doing this but she had to settle her thoughts. She had sensed a person, and had seen a flash of movement in the trees. It was the colours that unsetteld her, black and brown, and she only knew one person with that bad a fashion sense: Notch. She shuddered under the wind and her good sight was on her side, as she ran after the being she had seen. She got to a clearing and looked around her. She could sense the invisibility bubbled around her.

"I know you're here Notch!" she practically spat the last word. She heard milk being drank behind her and spun around, keeping her sword in the next slot of her inventory.

She smirked. "I knew i saw you over there... I guess it was you who set those fairies off? Didn't know you still had that much power in you oldie" She knew the cheek was risky, but then again so was killing a teacher infront of 20 pupils.

Notch's voice boomed over the trees. "You've got your Father's mouth on you child." Raven's eyes glittered with pride at that thought. Notch continued. "Though he's not your real Father, is he?" Those words alone made Raven's eyes twice the brightness they were before. "Say that again and that son of YOURS won't be going around alive much longer" she growled. Notch scowled at her. "You've had enough chances already to end him, i don't think you have it in you, although i must say your performance against those fairies was impressive." Notch started circling the clearing. "I'd watch my back if I were you child, and Herobrine as well... After all, Hero has already discovered the whereabouts of your hideout."

Raven glared at him, sword drawn. "Why the Nether would we be hiding from the likes of your kind! I know you go on about how evil we are, but you are the evil ones! Those pathetic mortals are no better than sheep, i bet half of them dont even know WHY Dad does what he does!" She was shouting at the end, but Notch was just laughing at her.

"Good luck in the war child. Your kind is going to need it" He whispered one word as he teleported into golden dust. "Glitch"

Raven ran back to Waru and Aiden, forcing back tears. Aiden had a bandage on his head.

"Nice job doctor" She said to Waru sarcastically .

As she arrived, a Raven flew up ahead.

"Hey look! C'mon lets follow it!" Waru shouted and the 3 ran after it into the summer sun.
