Cory didn't know what to say. His mother was clearly terrified. She kept on struggling to open Cory's door because her hands were too shaky to even stand still.

"Cory, stay behind ME at all costs" she whispered as Cory slowly crept behind her, his heart pounding.

Cory tugged at his mother's shirt. She looked over.

"Are you gonna be ok?" Cory whispered.

"I'm always up for a dice roll."

Cory didn't know what this meant at all. But he didn't ask why would she say that but fear made it hard to even shake his head.

His mother took a shuttering breathe as she slammed the door open.

Before Cory could scream, His mother grabbed him by the wrist and yanked him behind table that has been pushed on its side.

Several gunshots were heard

More groans of agony

Two bodies fell

Uncle Ramon and Aunt Tass
were dead.

Cory peeked his head over to see this.

He couldn't cry.

Cory felt heartless for not doing so.

But how could he cry without any eyes?

A man stood over the dead bodies, holding a gun in one and a broken beer bottle in the other. His hands were shaking and he could barely stand still. Brown hair was matted to his. He was obvious drunk. He wore no expression. His face was a camrea.

He wore the family emblem.

"Dad! What are yo-.." Cory's mom pulled home down back behind the chair before Corey could say anything else.

"He's drunk."

"I know sweetie." His mother responded as she broke the leg of the table they were hiding behind. Corey recoiled back in shock.

"Come on Amanda, you got this. You got this"

"Mommy, what are you doing?"

"I'm ending my game for yours."

Before Cory could speak or ask what she meant, she let out a loud battle cry as she ran at his father with the table leg.

Smack!

She slammed the wooden leg on Cory's dad's leg, He yelled out in agonizing pain, Corey could here a loud cracking noise.

He fell down. The gun fell from his hands.

Cory's dad winced in pain and made a mad gurgling noise. He grabbed the gun that had skidded across the floor.

"Cory ru-" She stopped.

Her eyes widen to hug sized.

Her mouth, wide open.

Blood dripping down to the floor.

A bullet shot through the heat.

She fell down.

Cory saw it all.

Cory's dad weakly threw the gun at him, attempting to hit him.
It bounced off the table and slid to Cory's feet.

He picked it up, shaking harshly..

"Gimme that boy.." Gurgled Corey's dad. He slowely started to crawl across the room.

Cory looked at his farther one last time, one last fearful time.

He pulled the trigger

His dad let out a painful sounding screech before blood stained the floor.

Corey dropped the gun with a horrified face and stared at the dead bodies that littered the white tiles. Blood stained his shirt and floor. Corey couldn't stop shaking in fear and horror.

You killed your own farther.

How sick..
Corey's legs seemed to move on there own. He slid over to his mother's side and grabbed her hand, hardly breathing because of shock.
"Mom! MOM!" Corey screamed, rasing his voice. She didn't say anything, her fingers felt cold under Corey's grasp.
"mom?" Corey said quietly, almost even quieter then a whisper. He tried to speak again, but it only came out as a pathetic squeak.
All the evidence was there. Shot through the heart, blood flooding the floor, and the dead cold expression on her face. She was dead. But Corey wouldn't believe it.
"Right!" Corey slowly started to get up, shaking even more. "Medical items..." Corey walked over to the bathroom.
"Everything is fine." He said smiling, absolutely not fine. He opens the door of the bathroom, his blood stain footprints covered the cold floor. Corey turned around and stared at the mirror, smiling insanely.
You are just a killer.
Nothing less and nothing more.
Corey shook his head, not listening to the words whispering in his head like a nest of rattlesnakes. He pulled the nob on the side of the mirror, revealing the cabinet full of medical supplies that was never used. Corey slowly grabbed the packet of bandages, running towards the entrance of his house. Even more blood was covering the ground.
Corey sat next to his own dead mother's corpse, wrapping the bandages around her chest. The bandage became soaked with blood, it quickly unwrapped itself along with a huge blood spurts out in its place. "Why won't you look at that?" Corey said, his voice breaking.
"We need better medical supplies huh?" Corey said with a huge fake smile. His mother said nothing, staring into the abyss. "Come on.. It's almost bedtime!" He cried out, his voice becoming weaker.
"How did that song go?" Cold dead silence.
"Oh! You forgot? Then I'll sing it!" Corey took a feel shaky breath,

"Mother rain." His voice cracked at the first word. "Mother rain..." Corey slowly looked down.
"Saves lives everyday..." Corey voice lowers to a whisper, the words burned in his throat.
"The pure dies in a great way.." Corey's hands grabbed his hair in depression.
"OHH.. the great savoir of your kin.." Corey slammed his small fists into her chest. "Sleep tight my dear child.."
Corey's face felt warm.
"Knowing you're under her gaze.." Corey started to grab his mother's shirt tightly. The last words hurt him. He couldn't even speak. But he managed to say something, his last words...
