A Letter Sent.

5 years since the encounter with Cory. No sign and no trace of him.

Frisk was now 11 in 5th grade in the summer. She kept on asking more and more questions about the Scape family to her mother, but she had no answers. Life felt like it didn't want her to have a true friend. Frisk was hesitant to talk to people at school.

One faithful day, a letter was sent. A letter with a ink imprint of a camera. When frisk saw this in the mailbox, she was filled with hope. It could easily be Corey! Frisk ran inside her house with a bounce in her steps.

Frisk tore open the envelope  with a gleeful expression on her face. Inside was a letter with crinkly brown paper, like it was a old treasure.

Frisk read it out loud.

Dear frisk,

It's been years since I saw you. I deeply apologize for this. I plan to go to your school of the 6th grade to visit you , but I won't be enrolled. I'll visit you now and then. Im excited to meet you once again

From,
Cory Scape.

Frisk smiled as she read it over again. The words sang in her head like a lovely orchestra.
Frisk placed the letter over her heart and sighed. She ran to her mother to tell her the news.

Letters are like hope in
Paper form.

They seem useless today with constant texts and technology.

But does that matter?

Hope is still alive.

Hope is still in the game.

The game we call Life.
