Frisk couldn't forget.
Frisk didn't want to forget.
Frisk HAD to remember.
The night of the horrifying creatures that saved her.
And most importantly..
Corey and his Mother.
Frisk told no one about the Scapes. It felt wrong on so many levels. She didn't know why. So she lied. For the first time in her life, lied. It felt horrible.
Frisk told them that a couple of kids beat her up and while running away, she got lost
Frisk hated guilt.

Words clinged onto the cold night sky as and the muggy air inside of he house because of a nice crackling fireplace, for a sickly child. The table was getting cleaned by two michevous twins who had a big smirk on their face.
The dishes were being hand washed by a grandpa who was muttering about "Wretched machine" over and over again till he was done.
A grandmother was making food for her work lunch along with her grand children's cold lunch as well.
A father was sitting on a recliner chair watching sports along with 3 of his brothers.
And finally.
A beautiful 7 year old girl was about to sleep and her mother, who was cleaning the floor and her bed while singing a lovely tune.

Frisk's mother kept picking up random drawings from Frisk's desk and kept saying encouraging words about her art. After That, she would pin them onto the black board on the back wall of her room. Frisk planed to ask her mother about the Scapes. But she felt too uneasy. But then again, she couldn't back away.
"Mom?"
"Yes deary?" Mother replied, finishing the last few touches of cleaning Frisk's room.
"Do you umm.." Frisk tapped her foot up and down, trying to find the proper way to say it correctly.
"Do you know about the Scapes?"
Her mother frowned. Frisk didn't know if she was angry or sad...
Then suddenly, her mother stomped on the ground with sheer force and turned towards Frisk a angered and red face.
"How do you know about THAT?" She said, calming down a bit.
Frisk squirmed a bit, her eyes avoiding the upset adult. "I-... I..." Frisk gulped.
"Lied about finding my way back home alone?" Frisk started to laugh awkwardly. Mother wasn't laughing.
"What. Did. I. Tell. You?"
"Mo-"
"Your grounded" Her mother shot back sternly. She started to pace back and forth.
"But mom i-" Frisk started
"I can't believe I raised a child to LIE."
Frisk couldn't speak. Frisk was angry and frustrated to the point when constant hot tears rolled down her face. Frisk's mother kept on talking.
"You should be ashamed of yourself! I can't believe it. I thought you wouldn't lie to me on such a big subject-"
"SHUT UP" Frisk screamed. Her eyes were now bulging with tears. Her face was red, and her voice was clear but blurry.
There were no sounds other then the small crackling of a fire by the sickly kid and noises from a sports game from afar.
The smell of cinnamon and dish soap filled the air. It may have been a couple seconds for Frisk to speak but it felt like years.
"Why have you been lying to me?" Frisk tried to say calmly, but the tears made her voice crack half way through.
"I-.. I thought WE were family..." Frisk said quietly now. More hot tears rolled down her face.
