Young Justice: Super Girl

Episode Three: Welcome to Happy Harbor

     The mission with Roy was just what Kara needed.  After Kaldur, Wally, Dick, and herself had successfully set it up with Roy she was ready for it.  After the whole therapy talk Kara had fled the house and escaped to Japan where she ended up staying the night on a bench in the park, unable to sleep with the thoughts of therapy racing through her mind.

     Kara had no one to talk to about the horrors of therapy, she did not want to tell any of her friends in case they would think she was crazy.  She wasn't going to tell Roy either, he had his own things to deal about.  She had no way to let off some steam besides kicking some booty and this was the first opportunity that had presented itself.

     It was dark outside, a full moon with nothing but the dim lighting of the street lamps helping the ordinary human eye see.  However, Kara and the rest of the small team that she had come out with that night were more than just human.

     Wally was using his goggles night vision mode while Robins mask held the same powers.  While Kaldur was relying on his eye sight, his Atlantean heritage fave him leverage over the normal human.  Being a Kryptonian made Kara able to see in the night as if it were day if she switched on her night-vision.

They were on the docks of Star City, near some sort of warehouse and an illegal operation.

With her super-hearing, as Kara crouched far off, her and the ex-sidekicks were undercover at the moment, keeping hidden from the villains, she could still hear what was going on and with her telescopic vision mixed with her night vision she could also see it.

"You again?" A huge man with dreads in a ponytail snarled as Speedy shot past him with a few arrows. "I'm starting to get insulted Green Arrows not messing up my operations personally!"

     He was holding a strange gun of some sort and while Super Girl personally knew that Speedy would easily be able to dodge whatever he shot, she still held her breath as she watched the man shoot lasers at Speedy and winced as she saw them go towards him before sighing  with relief that he had yet again passed it.

      Speedy shot an explosive arrow back and Super Girl grinned as it exploded all over Mr. Dreads.  His gun was finished off and his suit was in tatters, making him even angrier.  "Do you know what I pay for a suit my size?" The man snarled.  "Scorch the earth boys." He said to several people behind him.

     Robin took them out with a few bat-a-rangs and as Super Girl heard his familiar cackle he usually saved for the bad guys she knew it was time to jump into action.  Zooming over there at top speed she wrapped her legs around one of the guys heads before grabbing another's and bonking their heads together.

     Super Girl leapt off of the guy she was on as he crashed to the ground, Aqua Lad taking out some of his friends with his swords.  She grinned, dusting her hands off proudly before seeing Mr. Dreads pick up a huge rock and throw it at Speedy.  The archer dodged it before nocking another explosive arrow and firing.

     Mr. Dreads retaliated by grunting and picking up a second rock.  Super Girl punched one of his goons in the face.  Aqua Lad threw himself in front of Speedy, using one of his swords to slash the rock in half and it fell to the ground.

"The cave is perfect, it has everything the team will need." Said Aqua Lad as Robin hopped onto the ledge they were on and Super Girl flew up.

"For covert missions." Robin informed Speedy happily, "You know, spy stuff!"

"And wait till you see Super Boy 'n Miss. Martian." Kid added, zooming up. "But I saw her first!" He added.
